Bhutan Tours in July 2026

The trek started from a remote village in Thimphu and the trekking trail offered breathtaking views of gorgeous mountains. We were able to see the entire Himalayan ranges and came across plentiful of crystalline lakes. The 5 days trek was not very strenuous and we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquility of secluded mountains high above sea level. The tour was very beautifully crafted and we explored the most beautiful parts of the kingdom of Bhutan. Me and my wife are both hikers and love to explore the wilderness. And theres nothing like exploring the far flung dragon kingdom of Bhutan. Our 2019 Bhutan tour was the most amazing so far among all our trips around the world.We started off by arriving at Paro Airport, a wonderful lush valley surrounded by high mountains. It was a world out of this world. The drive from Paro to Thimphu unfolded numerous sacred temples in exotic locations. The Tachog Lhakhang was one of our favorite with mystical energy in an ancient set up. We also added 2 nights stay in Punakha valley to the Bhutan Walking & Hiking Tour. We hiked to Lungchutse Gompa from Dochula Pass on our way from Thimphu to Punakha. From the Gompa the view was epic (on top the world); we have commanding view of the Punakha and Wangdue valley and bird eye view of some highest snow covered peaks.The hike to Zuri in Paro was leisure one but the trail offers wonderful opportunities to capture the verdant Paro valley and Paro Dzong. This local operator organized my whole trip during my stay in Nepal, i have visited the Pokhara and chitwan national park which is awesome place to visit, will comeback again with my family in near future.

It was a short and an amazing trip, definitely gave us an unforgettable lifetime experience to visit Bhutan. Our guide at Bhutan was very knowledgeable on the history of Bhutan and was able to answer all our questions. The meals, accommodations, and transport were great. Our highlight from this trip was hiked to Tigers Nest Monastery, the view of the mountains and valleys were awesome. Overall we were left with a beyond great experience.
