Uncover the spiritual and natural wonders of Western Bhutan on this seven-day tour, designed for experienced travelers seeking both cultural depth and scenic beauty. Wander through ancient dzongs and temples, hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest monastery in Paro, and explore the serene Phobjikha Valley. day 1 - Arrive Paro International Airport

Welcome to Bhutan. After you touch down, you will be received with “tashi khada” (ceremonial scarf) by your guide and driver at the airport and driven to the town for welcome tea and refreshment.

After you feel rested, we set out on a sightseeing tour. The highlights include Kichu lhakhang, a Buddhist temple built in 629 AD by a Tibetan king; Paro Ta Dzong, an ancient watch tower turned into a museums; Rinpung Dzong, also known as the 'Fortress of the Heap of Jewels.'

Please note your itinerary shall be flexible and you can skip few sightseeing if you wish to rest more. Your guide will give you options based on your interest.

In the evening, transfer to Bhutan's capital city Thimphu (approximately one hour drive). After hotel check-in, you are free to explore the city or rest.

day 2 - Thimphu Cultural and Happiness Tour

We spend the day visiting the various sites and landmarks of Thimphu, starting with a drive Sangay-gang where the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin, is found in captivity. This hill is also called the “romantic point” as lovers often come here to enjoy the panoramic view of the Thimphu valley.

Next, we visit Buddha Gang, which offers a spectacular view of Thimphu city. This giant Buddha-statue overlooking Thimphu is one of the biggest in the world. We then visit the General Post Office, where we can create personalized postage stamps with our own photos, and the National Library and Archives of Bhutan, where ancient manuscripts are preserved. It also has on display the world's largest picture book on Bhutan.

Zorig Chusum 'School for Thirteen Traditional Arts and Crafts' is next followed by a visit to Craft Bazaar for authentic local handicraft and souvenir. We will also tour the Tashichho Dzong, the main secretariat building of Bhutan, which also houses the office of the king, the Throne room and also state monastic body.

In the evening, we will take a walking tour in Thimphu, visiting Hongkong market, Norzin lam, Main traffic area, Wogzin lam, Clock Tower etc.
