Eastern Europe Tours in February 2027

We had a great time in Tanzania! With many cool activities (safari, cultural tour, the walk in Stone Town, relaxed programme on the beach) and a very friendly and knowledgeable team, I would definitely recommend it.

The holiday was excellent. The organisation, accommodation and cycling were all very good. We packed in a lot of Sri Lanka's top sights and there was plenty of variety of old, new, nature and religion. Ending the holiday on the beautiful south coast was perfect.

Indira, our tour leader, was fantastic. She was welcoming, friendly, informative and nothing was too much trouble. She was patient and very good humoured; we trusted her decisions and always felt safe.

The tour is very complete and the people has been amazing. However, I strongly recommend to improve the support for people with allergy/ dietary requirements. In my case I have coeliac disease and I felt not supported at all. The CEOs or hotels where not aware of my diet and most of the times I could not eat or I struggled to find safe food. While the rest of the group was having food together I had myself to speak with each cook, hotel and staff without the help of CEOs. I asked several times before joining the trip but even so it was difficult and I would have appreciated that hotels and CEOs were more supportive.

This tour felt like a crash course in Southeast Asia, but in a good way. I wasn’t sure how much ground we could realistically cover in just over a week but this trip proved you don’t need a month to experience something meaningful. Everything was well-organized. What stood out most to me was how different Vietnam and Cambodia felt, even though they’re neighbors. Hanoi was buzzing with life..scooters zipping by, food stalls everywhere, and this mix of modern and old that was fascinating to watch. Our guide helped us navigate the chaos in a way that made it feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Then, just when things felt fast-paced we got a breather on the Ha Long Bay cruise. Being out on the water was peaceful, the views were unreal. In Cambodia, Angkor Wat was the big draw, and yes, it was absolutely worth it. But what I didn’t expect was how much I enjoyed the in-between moments. And while there’s always a lot of walking on these kinds of trips, the pace felt doable, even for those of us who aren’t exactly as young as me (53 :p) Would I do it again? Definitely. The trip left me feeling like I got a true taste of two cultures.

Some of the highlights included exploring Monteverde’s stunning cloud forest, a wildlife river cruise where we spotted incredible species, and relaxing on the white-sand beaches of Manuel Antonio alongside iguanas and capuchin monkeys. We also enjoyed zip-lining, hanging bridges, and a visit to a sloth reserve. My personal favorite was horseback riding on the beach—an optional activity I did on my own, but one I highly recommend. The photos from this trip are absolutely amazing! Even the nighttime walk, which wasn’t my favorite activity, turned into a hilarious and memorable experience. I laughed so much that it ended up being fun, even though we didn’t see much (except in the parking lot!). Overall, this trip was an incredible mix of adventure, nature, and fun. If you’re looking for an unforgettable way to experience Costa Rica, this is it. Highly recommend! If you’re lucky enough to get Diago as a guide, you will have an experience you’ll never forget.
