Eastern Europe Christmas markets Trips

Excellent. Great people,very good itinerary, excellent CEO. Hard to know which Christmas markets would be best ? but that is part of the journey. Great to have had the concert in Vienna and the unique opportunity for a Krampus run. I chose the Vienna to Berlin for personal reasons but would do it again as the cities at beginning and end are wonderfully different.

Great tour would just want on night in Nuremberg to spread it out a little but overall had a great experience and the hotels were exceptional! Markets were great and there was so much food to try!

This was honestly my favorite Expat tour so far. Micah our tour leader was so nice and worked so hard to make sure our group had the best experience. Our bus driver Gabor was the absolute best. He navigated busy cities and narrow streets like a pro. I felt like we had plenty of time to explore and opportunities of free time to make it our own. As a solo traveler, I feel this company does a great job of creating a group family and make you feel welcome and not alone. This was my 3rd tour and I am already looking forward to the next. The tour was so much fun! We have seen so much countries and cities in such a short period of time. What an experience being on top of Europe - Swiss Alps! Seeing the Eiffel Tower was magical! The Rhine River was just beautiful. Prague was unreal. I felt rich watching the Vienna classical concert. The wooden windmills of Amsterdam and the cheese and clogs creation were an added bonus to the experience. Endless fun to mention. Our tour leader Jemma was genuinely warm and friendly which made our tour extra special. I will definitely travel with Expat Explore again. The only thing to mention was the inability to pay for excursions using a simple debit or credit card payment. Other than that, I 100% recommend Expat Explore Tour for an unbelievable fun experience.

I just got back from the 12 Day Christmas and New Year's EE tour (2023/2024) & being the 1st time I've been away from home for the holidays, I found it simply magical, everything I hoped for plus more.. This tour is fast paced with plenty of early morning departures and plenty of walking, but the trade off is that you get to experience as much as possible in each of the cities along the way. As a solo traveler, I never felt unsafe or alone and the camadarie of the group was instant. I also appreciate that this tour allows you the freedom to choose between various pre-set excursions in any given city and/or the option to go off and explore on your own and/or workout a hybrid of such with your tour leader. If you are on the fence about booking an Expat Explorer tour, I say do yourself a favor and just book it.

Our 14-day Jewel of Europe trip was nothing short of spectacular! Jemma, our tour leader, and Florin, our driver, were exceptional. The Swiss Alps on New Year's Day was undoubtedly a highlight of the trip. All the hotels, we had comfortable stays, and each restaurant visit gave us a decent taste of each country. The optional excursions were totally worth it as well.
