Guillia put a great self-drive tour together for us and Susana looked after us as we travelled.
(Even when we got lost)
The car and accommodation was good and the guides patient and informative.
Only issue we had was parking in small villages, garages, and cities.
Apart from the parking we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, thank you.

Logistics were great as we're the hotels. Bee keeper activity was very disappointing. Final dinner was terrible. Liked most of the included items but the optionals were not great. Best was Budapest river cruise.

May 22 - June 1 2026. We had originally booked the week of May 27-June 7, booked our flights according. We were informed about 1 month prior that they were canceling that week and we could book the previous week. So we had to change all of our flights to accommodate this week of the tour. Then we were informed that our hotel for the last 3 nights in Budapest had been changed to the hotel at tge airport - no explanation for this change. We found out when the tour started that the change was due to a final soccer game being held in the downtown area. This arena was awarded in 2024, so why did Trafalgar not have been aware of this happening! If we had gone the week we had originally booked, this would not have happened. These changes made by Trafalgar cost us more money for flights and accommodation and our plans had been squashed. The bus ride into the downtown core took an hour each way - not convenient for anyone, dealing with the chaos of people and traffic - not very impressed. This change of location was not even close to being a comparison to the original booking at the Crowne Budapest. I would like to hear back from a Customer Service Rep to discuss this tour. This was just all about Trafalgar saving money at our expense.
