Awesome couple of stunningly challenging weeks. This trip was a fabulous challenge, hard but very rewarding. We had some big thunderstorms to contend with & a good amount lying snow in July (spikes required). Luckily the sun was out for the big view, high pass days. The scenery was just awesome, stunning mountain vistas, wildflower meadows, pretty villages and much more. A great sense of achievement, Loved it.
I saw that this travel operator had a lot of good reviews, so I decided to use their services for our trip to Indochina, and it was perfect. Our tour ran smoothly even though we requested some last-minute changes due to family trouble. The team made us feel well taken care of, and all the hotels we used were high-quality. Our guides were experienced, we had a great time with them, specially our guide in Bavi, Tu. The transfers were comfortable, and all the experiences on the tour were really interesting. Highly recommend!!!!
We undertook and completed the Sarria to Santiago Rambler from 5-16 August 2024. The Rambler was a great way to complete the tour because the walks each day were approximately half the sections of the usual work. Our luggage was taken from accommodation to accommodation so all we had to carry was our day packs which was much appreciated in the steeper sections. I am 69 and my husband 75, both in reasonable fitness, and we managed the walk without any issues. I would recommend the Rambler to anyone who has doubts about the distances each day - you also get more time to spend in the town when you arrive.
