Eastern Europe Museum and gallery visits Trips

It was an excellent way to experience Japan for the first time. The tour was well organized and our guide (Keiko) was amazing! We really enjoyed getting insight about Japanese culture and understanding the history behind the places we visited. Travelling by bullet train between cities was super efficient and navigating the chaotic train stations was made so much easier by Keiko. The hotel accommodations were very good and bus transportation within the cities by the tour company was excellent. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in discovering Japan.

Whenever I travel to a foreign country, one of my top priorities is to immerse myself in the broadest and most varied cultural experiences possible. I want to leave with a genuine sense of who the people are and what their daily lives are like. The expansive Costsaver itinerary offers exactly the kind of diverse and immersive cultural encounters I look forward to—and truly enjoy.

It was a reasonable balance of tour activities and free time. However, a couple of activity locations allowed too much free time, whereas one or 2 others didn’t allow enough.

The itinerary provided a wonderful overview of diverse Japanese cities. Participants need to be physically able to do a great deal of walking. Hiroshima and Kyoto were my favorite cities. I also enjoyed the opportunity to prepare two of the meals. Shopping opportunities were my least favorite activity as I’m not a shopper and don’t like large market place crowds. Our tour director was wonderful!

The itinerary was well planned and paced, our group was 44 travelers (I prefer less for next time) but the activity levels were as advertised, the local hosts knowledgable and interesting and the weather was spectacularly perfect!

Very inclusive and the tour director was very knowledgeable and attentive to all concerns. Also the bus driver was very good. This was our 6th trip with Trafalgar and they have always been on target and left nothing to worry about. Excellent tour company!!
