We went as a group of 4. It was such a lot of fun. The E Bikes were great, the scenery was terrific and interesting and our accommodation was also very good.

Very well organized. Really liked the personalized book that supported the journey with information about each spot along the way. The app was also super helpful for each leg of the trip.

The boat Erato was super comfortable - well designed and our cabin (a double and single bed) was spacious. The crew were top notch. Friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. The riding was at times challenging but the evokes did the trick. They were great quality. The pacing of rides was perfect. Time for exploring ,swimming etc. our fellow passengers were a fun group.

A beautiful blend of history, scenery, and incredible food

I absolutely loved this trip! The cycling was perfect: around 90% on dedicated bike paths, with very little time spent on roads, which made it feel relaxed and safe the whole way through. Every day brought something different: charming medieval villages, peaceful countryside, and powerful reminders of history along the D-Day beaches. The food was a real highlight — from fresh seafood on the coast to delicious local cheeses and pastries, every meal felt like a reward after a day in the saddle. Mont-Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo were just as magical as I’d imagined. . Overall, this was a wonderful balance of gentle cycling, culture, and great food — the perfect way to experience northern France!

The cycling was graded as "easy" and I was pleased that was indeed the case as I had never done a cycling holiday with Explore before. The group of 16 looked rather daunting at first, but we all got on really well together and had good fun, especially all mucking in to make an unexpected barbecue in the grounds of our accommodation. The accommodation was appropriate for the places and areas where we were, and the tour leader organised everything well to see the most interesting places, have good meals and a wine-tasting, and stop for appropriate breaks. The "optional" harder day was the most enjoyable, the beautiful scenery and stunning village of Minerve more than making up for the uphill ride.

I can’t say enough positively about Erwin, who was always aware of us and available for questions. He was always patient with us and writing us to cycle safely. He’s an excellent guide tour guide to leader Good mix of we 16 cyclists I’m glad I had an E-bike as I could not without a lot of strain on my 82-year-old legs with bilateral knee replacements cycle up the long Hills
