Although the journey can be quite tiring for some, the rewards of seeing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat is worth it. The trekking can last two to seven hours depending upon the gorilla group you have been assigned and where they stayed the night before.
The last day of your safari starts with a drive to Kihihi Airstrip, where you will board a light aircraft to Entebbe. Enjoy stunning aerial views of Ugandan countryside during the flight before you reach the capital.

The food was very good, as was the accommodation. Our tour director was extremely knowledgeable and the group size was just right.

Lucerne was nice, as expected. A walkable neighborhood with old churches, chapel bridge and Lion monument within the city center. Except for the scenic train ride over the Bernina pass from St. Moritz to Poschiavo, through the UNESCO world heritage site, there’s not much to do in St. Moritz. The great train ride through Swiss Alps to Grindelwald was enjoyable. Enjoyed the panoramic view of the glacier from the Eiger and Jungfrau mountains via gondola and cogwheel rides. Most highlights are optional excursions though. It would be nice if the tour included a visit to an important museum. Thank you
