Trek to witness the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains

This was my first trek in a foreign country and I wanted a short and accessible one for beginners. It is fairly physical due to steep stairs, but there is no dangerous or technical areas. you are walking through jungle trees and adorable village with a background view on the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. there is also options to make your trek shorter if you feel too tired. I loved this trek and it made me want to explore further this amazing country.

I had a great time on this trek and Raj was an incredible guide with great communication throughout. His hospitality, and flexibility were incredibly welcomed and the trek was fairly challenging for one of the more 'moderate' hikes. Loved the experience and could not be happier!

A must-do in Nepal

I travelled alone in the 2nd week of October. Weather was pretty good (only showers in the evening) and sunrises in Poon Hill and Tadapani just amazing. It wasn't as cold as expected and could do without a sleeping bag. The trek is great to get a taste of Nepal beyond the cities, offers lots of opportunities for protography, and can be done even by people with no head for heights (you don't have to be "schwindelfrei"). Deepak -my guide- was incredibly helpful, adjusting to my pace while keeping the tempo, helping all the time and even looking for "Shiva trees" to shoot. Thank you very much! This was very much unexpectedly excellent trek in 6 days, this trek was filled with enjoyment of Mountains ranges of Annapurna,Manaslu,Ganesh Himal,Dhaulargiri, Nilgiri with beautiful sunset view and sunrise view from Ghorepani. Entirely the trek was beautiful with excellent service, guide and the local operator's team of and i enjoyed every bit and second of this trek.

Great Experience

The trekking experience was great. Suitable level for people who is first time on trekking in Nepal. The montain views were amazing. Sunrise was a great part of the whole journey, however, it is not available everyday, its totally upto the weather.

Great scenery for a relatively easy hike

My friends and I did the Poon hill trek. The trail was technically easy, with lots of stairs and lots of going up and down hill. Awesome view of Annapurna South and Fishtail. The Poon hill viewpoint does get busy for the sunrise but it was worth it.
