Excellent

This tour doesn’t go everywhere in Thailand, but what it covers, it covers really well. It’s a focused, meaningful itinerary that gives you a true taste of Thai culture, history and daily life without overwhelming you. If you’re someone who wants a rich experience but only has a little over a week, this is an ideal option. We started in Bangkok with a visit to the main temples, and right away it was clear the tour was well-paced. Wat Pho and the Marble Temple were all fascinating in different ways. The guide gave just enough history without dragging things out. The floating market was colorful, chaotic in the best way, and felt authentic, not staged. The river journey in Kanchanaburi was peaceful with just enough sightseeing mixed in. Ayutthaya was a beautiful finish before heading back to Bangkok. The ruins had an almost mystical quality to them especially in the softer afternoon light. Even the meals stood out..nothing fancy, but fresh, local, and tasty. A nice balance of comfort and authenticity. In short, this is a thoughtful tour. You’re not racing from city to city yet every day feels full. You come away with not just photos but a real sense of place. If you’re short on time but big on curiosity this one’s a great pick.

This trip exceeded our expectations

This trip exceeded our expectations with its interesting itinerary, amazing mix of cultural landmarks, breathtaking landscapes, and relaxing beach time. The tour guides were insightful and made each stop even more memorable, especially during the Sapa trek. A special thanks to Long Pham, who helped coordinate everything so seamlessly. He kept track of our journey, ensured we were well taken care of, and made sure we had all the support we needed throughout the trip. I highly recommend this experience to anyone planning to explore Asia!

Excellent

This trip was the perfect balance. I’d always been curious about Thailand but I wasn’t looking for a beach holiday. I wanted a deeper connection, something that would help me understand the soul of the country. Thailand Odyssey delivered that and more. What stood out to me most was how thoughtful the experience felt. Nothing was overdone or overly “touristy.” Whether we were visiting temples, walking through old ruins, or floating past boats stacked with mangoes and steaming dumplings, it all felt genuine and grounded in place. The pace was just right. I never felt rushed and yet we saw and experienced so much. Some moments were vibrant and full of life, like drifting through the floating market or sharing meals at small, local spots. Others were more contemplative like taking in the quiet beauty of ancient temples or riding the train past green hills with history hanging in the air. Traveling in a little group made a real difference. We had enough time and space to connect with each other but also room for quiet reflection. The accommodations were comfortable, the meals were memorable (I’m still thinking about that green curry), and the logistics were smooth from start to finish. This isn’t a flashy tour. It’s not about luxury or checking off Instagram shots. It’s about slowing down, absorbing your surroundings, and returning home with stories that linger. If that sounds like your kind of travel, I can’t recommend it enough.

Memorable trip for the whole family

This trip was such a great way for our family to explore both Vietnam and Thailand. The itinerary was good with interesting experiences. Hotels were comfy, guides were friendly, knowledgeable about places, and the food was amazing. Really appreciate how the team organized everything professionally.

Excellent

This tour hit all the right notes for us. We wanted something that showed us different parts of Thailand without being too intense or expensive. The days were full but never overwhelming. We saw big landmarks like the Grand Palace and White Temple but also had time for small experiences, like sipping coffee at a local cafe in Chiang Mai or watching the sunset from the beach in Phuket. The flights between cities made travel easy and we were always met on time. Having a guide in each place helped us understand the history and customs better and they answered every question we had. We’re not “tour people,” usually, but this one made things simple. It was structured but with enough flexibility. If you’re thinking about Thailand and want a little adventure without the stress of planning I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Authentic experiences and an unforgettable journey – loved every moment!

The Angkor Wat sunrise was on my bucket list, and I so happy I've done it. But the surprise highlight was the tea-making experience in Ri Village. Mr. Duoc reminded me of my grandfather with all his stories. We sat under a tree sipping the tea we helped make and it was unexpectedly emotional for me.

Introducing Thailand

Turquoise waters, sunny beaches, tropical forests, and heaps of must-try food, Thailand is as popular among partygoers as it is among nature lovers. Whether you just want to relax on the beaches of Koh Samui, go island-hopping in the Phi Phi or explore the remote corners of the Golden Triangle, Thailand has it all.

Options really are endless when it comes to this country, which is why our local travel experts are on hand to help you create the perfect customized Thailand tour. Why not get in touch with them today?

When to go to Thailand

The good news about Thailand is that there is no terrible time to visit this country. While the months of November through to March are generally considered the best to explore the entire length of the country due to the cool, dry weather, September and October are ideal to discover the hills and mountains of northern Thailand. Similarly, the coastline around Krabi is best visited in April and May. Learn more.

How long to stay in Thailand

Thailand’srelatively good transport network means that you can cover a large chunk of the country in just a few days. If you are limited to two days as part of a wider trip to the region, concentrate on Bangkok or the food scene of Kanchanaburi. Seven days could have you trekking between the isolated villages in the north or sailing around the remote islands in the Andaman Sea. Meanwhile, two weeks in Thailand are enough to take in the sights and sounds of Surat Thani, cycle around Khao Sok, and relax beside Lake Cheow Lan. Learn more.

Must-visit destinations in Thailand

Beyond the destinations we have already mentioned, anyone considering a tailor-made adventure in Thailand will not want to miss out on the chance to soak up the scenery around Koh Samui, the ancient temples of Ayutthaya, or the dive sites situated off the coast of Ao Nang. Laid-back Chiang Mai and the smaller Chang Rai in the north are great cities for taking a beach break, visiting a night bazaar, discovering elephant rescue centers, and exploring a mix of colorful local culture. Then there is Bangkok, where ornate temples jostle for attention amid towering city blocks. The country’s long history means there are no shortage of historic sites, from the Bridge on the River Kwai to the royal palace of Ban Len.
