About Matilda

My name is Matilda and I am a Swedish experienced travel lover who left my home country to live in Thailand, where I started Thrilling Thai Tours with my partner Niti. As a strong-minded and ambitious woman I love challenges, and to live in Thailand sure is a real challenge! I grew up in a small town in Sweden and I always knew I wanted to go out and explore the world. As soon as I finished high school I jumped on the plan directly to Asia, I wanted to see more than Sweden! I was out travelling for 3 months and when I came back home to Sweden I directly started to plan my next trip... I have many adventures behind me and I want to get even more. I would definitely say I'm a real travel expert! The last few years I've been out travelling around the world: New Zealand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, England, France, Spain, Montenegro and many other places. I sure love a lot of places, but I feel there is something special about Thailand as not only does it have a lot of popular "must go" places, but also a lot of hidden gems to explore!

Matilda's Expertise

I specialise in all places in Thailand, from up north to down south! My most popular tours are boat tours in Phuket and Krabi or adventure tours up north in Chiang Mai. I also offer snorkelling, boat tours, kayaking, zip lining, rafting, sightseeing, Muay Thai boxing, sea walking, swimming, zorbing, cabaret shows, dinner cruises, romantic boat tours and much much more! Best Travel Experience

One of my best experiences in Thailand was the first time I went zip lining. It was so fun! I did the zip-line adventure in Phuket, south of Thailand, and it was a great trip. I experienced so many different things during just one activity. My adrenaline was pumping from the thrilling zip-lining, while my eyes were seeing the magical and beautiful nature from above! I love, love zip-lining and therefore it's a must-have in our company's tour offers! I would recommend it to anyone since it is safe and fun.
