Professional, flexible, and beautifully organized from start to finish

The team organized a private two-week tour in Asia that included both well-known and off-the-beaten-path locations. Our accommodations, upgraded to four-star hotels, were excellent, and drivers and guides were always punctual. The tour operator checked in with us daily and was responsive to any questions or requests, like adding a sunrise visit.

Incredible trip!

The itinerary was well-paced and we especially loved the Angkor temples and the overnight on Halong Bay cruise. Our guide was super helpful, and Realistic Asia handled everything smoothly. Highly recommend for first-timers in Southeast Asia!

A fantastic short trip ^-^

A fantastic trip gave us a real experience of Vietnam and Cambodia! We enjoyed the historical Hanoi and the vibrant HCM. Angkor complex was breathtaking too. Everything was smooth - knowledgeable guides, nice hotels, quality service. Thanks team for this trip!

Beyond expectations

This tour really exceeded all my expectations. I didn’t know what to expect with 3 countries in just 10 days, but it was honestly amazing. The itinerary was fast-paced but never stressful, and we still had time to enjoy each place. Thanks to the team who always checked and made sure everything went well. I highly recommend this trip!

I think this was one of the most well-rounded trips I’ve taken

We were lucky to accompany the team on our trip to this Indochina island. I appreciate your expertise and enthusiasm. Every destination has its own impressions thanks to the enthusiastic introduction of the tour guide. In his free time, he suggested places to eat and shop. Overall, I am satisfied with this trip.

So much more than temples and history

This is my second time coming to Cambodia, and I thought I already knew everything about it but this trip taught me so much more. All the experiences I join were excellent, with the Phnom Penh cooking class being my favourite. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to know more about Cambodia than just a classic experience.

Introducing Cambodia

Whether you want to explore Cambodia’s top-rated attractions like Angkor Wat or lesser-visited gems like the dazzling 12th-century Banteay Chhmar temple complex, your interests and preferences can take center stage with a Cambodia customized tour. Choose to spend time in Phnom Penh and admire the capital’s French colonial-styled shophouses, relax in the beautiful beach resort of Sihanoukville, or explore unspoiled mangrove forests, offshore islands, and coral reefs in Ream National Park. Combine your love for hiking and wildlife at the Cardamom Mountains, where clouded leopards and tigers still roam freely. Interested in a unique cultural experience? See the dance and acrobatic performance by the famous Phare Cambodian Circus in Siem Reap. Our team of experts will help create customized tours to Cambodia designed specifically for you.

When to Go to Cambodia

The dry season, October to April, is the best time to visit Cambodia. December and January are ideal for visiting the southern islands. The weather is perfect from December to February for custom Cambodia tours to the temples of Angkor and exploring cities like Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Though it may rain in October, the countryside is lush, and it’s a lovely time to travel between Siem Reap and Battambang by boat. March and April get too humid for sightseeing. Top-rated sites are crowded in the dry season, so choose personalized tours to Cambodia for a stress-free trip.

How Long to Stay in Cambodia

It is possible to complete a packed, whirlwind Cambodia customized tour in just five days, touching most of the main attractions, but in 10 days, you can add a trip to the village of Sambor to see the delightful Irrawaddy dolphins, discover the great city of Angkor Thom, and spend some time in Lake Tonle Sap’s intriguing floating villages. Even better, we recommend a 15-day trip for an in-depth exploration of the country’s culture, history and architecture. During two weeks in Cambodia, you can see the cultural landmarks of Phnom Penh, explore the quaint villages of Kratie and Kampong Cham along the Mekong River, and get introduced to the wildlife of Mondulkiri. For more information, check out our guide on how many days to spend in Cambodia.

Must-Visit Destinations in Cambodia

Add Kompong Cham to your bucket list, a city in south-central Cambodia with a charming waterfront and attractive colonial architecture. Check out three waterfalls, Katieng, Ka Chhang and Chha Ong, in the forest near Banlung. Another must-visit destination near Banlung is the Airavata Elephant Foundation, where you can meet these giant animals in near-natural conditions. Trek up the Dangrek Mountains to reach the spectacularly located Hindu temple Prasat Preah Vihear, which offers stunning views across northern Cambodia. Enjoy a tour of Kampot and its famous pepper plantations and buy their multi-colored pepper; you can also take a traditional buffalo cart ride in a nearby lake, a one-of-its-kind experience. If you want to get away from it all on your Cambodia customized tours, soak in the sun and sand on the quiet beaches of Koh Ta Tiev island.
