South Korea 8-Day Tours and Trips

The most amazing trip I've been on! It had the perfect mix of city and traditional experiences, and I truly feel like I got to experience the best parts of South Korea.

I loved South Korea and particularly enjoyed, learning about the culture, tasting the different types of foods and experiencing karaoke. I would have liked to spend longer in Busan as it was amazing. I think there was a good balance between organized activities and free tome. I look forward to seeing more options for tours in South Korea as well as combining it with other nearby countries.

The tour guide was pleasant and well organized. The other passengers were friendly. I was disappointed in the meals. st dinner changed to shabu shabu. Much preferred bim bap, more authentic Korean. We had a buffet one meal and did not like this at all. Then we did not have the Korean beef bbq, but a fish bbq. Would have preferred the beef bbq. Overall the food was of a moderate level of satisfaction for me.

Strange you don’t ask about the tour guides. That was a problem, with 2 guides each time one for the Spanish speakers and one for the English speakers. Both trying to compete for time with microphone, clearly caused problems and confusion. The first day the English speaking guide level of English was very poor, we could not u destined her and she could not understand us. Monica was superb over the final 4 days. The problem you caused me on the penultimate day has still not been explained, although it was solved to our satisfaction.

I really liked this trip, though I wish we stayed in Busan for at least another night. Both the Contiki and Korean guides were great, there were a few add-ons in each city to choose from and I definitely feel like I learned more about Korea than if I'd gone to the country without doing a Contiki tour. Good balance of included and optional activities. The hotels were centrally located which made it easy to explore the place on one’s own. CEO did a good job of communicating the itinerary, pacing the activities, and giving us informative overviews of the local history in all the places we visited.
