Start your tour with a visit to Jogyesa Buddhist Temple, the center of Zen Buddhism in Korea, famous for being located in the city. The first things you will notice at the temple are the lovely trees. These locust trees and baeksong trees in front of the Daeungjeon, the main temple building, are about 500 years old.
The tour also visits Gyeongbok Palace, built in 1395, which is arguably the most beautiful and the grandest of all the five palaces. Every day, visitors to Gyeongbok palace can watch a re-enactment of the changing of the royal guards' ceremony, which takes place at the Gwanghwamun and Heungnyemun plazas. The royal guards of the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910) were in charge of protecting the gates of the capital city and the royal palace.
The newly opened Cheongwadae Sarangchae, which opened to the public on January 5th, 2010, is a history center that gives visitors a chance to follow in the footsteps of presidents of Korea and gain insight into the history of Seoul. It encompasses the past, present and even the future of Seoul as well as the entire nation
We'll also visit Insa-dong, the most reliable place to purchase antiques in Seoul. Here you may browse antique shops, art galleries and second-hand bookstores.
Next up on our Seoul City tour is another traditional market, but this one is entirely different from Insadong. Gwangjang Market comprises around 5,000 vendors and is one of the oldest and largest in Seoul. It was also the first permanent market in Korea.
What better way to end our Seoul City Tour than a ride up to Seoul Tower on the iconic Namsan Cable Car.
This well-known Korean landmark offers captivating views of Namsan Mountain and downtown Seoul as you ascend the 605-metre-long cable to the top.

Here, you can start your Korean cultural experience of dressing in a traditional Hanbok, including getting a fitting hairstyle (for women only). The DMZ
The armistice that put a halt to the Korean War (1950-1953) divided the Korean Peninsula into South and North Korea. The two sides are separated by the Korean Demilitarized Zone, or DMZ, running along the 38th parallel north. The DMZ is also a unique natural ecosystem, one that is globally acknowledged for its ecological value.
Imjingak
This park was built to console the refugees who left North Korea during the Korean War. At the park are the following attractions; Mangbaedan, an altar set up for refugees to bow in the direction of their ancestral graveyards; Freedom bridge, which was built to free 12,773 prisoners in 1953; Unification pond, which is in the shape of the Korean Peninsula; and the Peace bell.
The 3rd Tunnel
The third tunnel was discovered in October 1978, and is evidently designed for an invasion of the south.
Dora Observatory
The Unification Observatory is located on Odu mountain, in an area of superb scenic beauty with Han river and Imjin river. It was opened on September 8, 1992.

Strange you don’t ask about the tour guides. That was a problem, with 2 guides each time one for the Spanish speakers and one for the English speakers. Both trying to compete for time with microphone, clearly caused problems and confusion. The first day the English speaking guide level of English was very poor, we could not u destined her and she could not understand us. Monica was superb over the final 4 days. The problem you caused me on the penultimate day has still not been explained, although it was solved to our satisfaction.

My tour was the best I have ever experienced. Our guide Priya gave us the best introduction to South Korea ever, making sure we all had fun and taught all about the history of Korea, while making sure we had the best places to eat and see. This tour has opened my eyes to this amazing culture, giving us chances to experience unique and fun activities, and giving me memories I will cherish forever. When I look back on my tour, I will always remember fondly of the boat ride in Busan as we saw the fireworks in the backdrop of the setting sun, Karaoke night where we belted our hearts out to pop songs, our picnic by the Han River, and trying on Hanboks in Gyeongju. I truly lucked out with my group and with my fabulous guide, and I will never stop raving about it.
