South Korea Tours in Winter

I took this tour with my 26-year-old daughter as a belated graduation gift and it turned out to be one of the best things we've done together. We both love Asian food, history, and culture, but neither of us wanted to deal with figuring out trains or language barriers. This tour was the perfect solution. Seoul was great. The subway system is clean and easy, and we loved how our guide gave us the confidence to use it ourselves. Seeing Deoksugung Palace and the tsunami-shaped City Hall was such a unique contrast. My daughter is into history, so the War Memorial really moved her. I was more fascinated by the traditional hanok homes in Jeonju. Busan was cool and coastal. That view of the ocean behind the shrine was unforgettable. The ferry to Japan was surprisingly relaxing. We played cards, had snacks, and watched the sea. Japan felt more spiritual to me. Miyajima and the Itsukushima Shrine were beautiful, and Hiroshima gave us a lot to think about. The hot springs at Dogo Onsen were so soothing after long days of walking. And I have to say that the bullet train ride to Tokyo? My daughter was giddy like a kid in Disneyland! We both agreed that the night at Mount Koya’s monastery was something we’ll remember forever. Quiet, peaceful, and a total change of pace. If you're thinking about bonding time with a loved one, this tour gives you experiences you’ll talk about for years.

I want you to know that Lina and Chris were excellent tour guides. Lisa was very professional and was able ro connect with us easily. Probably because she went to school in New York. Chris is very hardworking and really goes extra mile to ensure all of our needs are met. And I'm very appreciative of your effort to make sure our trip goes well.The group had breakfast together this morning at the hotel and we all agree that we had a great experience and will definitely be recommending this tour company to our family and friends. We've had very well organized tour. All the guides have been very knowledgeale. Chris and Lena were exceptional and went abouve and beyond. They were very attentive and caring. The South Korea Japan Trip was amazing I truly could not have asked for a better travel experience. Our Trip was in Nov 2022 during Thanksgiving, and we had some fantastic weather not too cold and not too hot - it was perfect. Both countries were beautiful, but I especially enjoyed Japan. Our guides were awesome esp. Rei and David : and the places we saw were like no other Buddhist temples, Shinto temples, seeing the Snow Monkeys, the magnificent gardens, what an experience We also had a really great tour group. The people we met on our journey were the best. The hotels were excellent, and the food was good too. There were not as many vegetarian options as I thought there would be so just be mindful of that if you have dietary restrictions and make sure to tell the guide in advance. I would highly recommend this trip if you are considering it. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Europamund for making this an unforgettable experience. Happy Travels

We enjoyed our city tour as it allowed us to get a flavor of the different areas of Seoul all in one day. Our guide, Brian, did a great job answering our questions about cultural norms and practices.
