South Africa Explorer Trips

Sam was an absolute driving force making the most out of every day. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the holiday a truly fabulous experience. We enjoyed every day of the holiday and would happily book another Explore holiday in the future.

Great trip with good mixture of activities and wildlife. The weather was perfect for an August trip - warm during day, cooler at night, and fortunately only 10 minutes of rain in 2 weeks. Well looked after by our guide Bianca. Food was very good value. Expect some flexibility in the itinerary - we couldn’t sea kayak due to choppy sea but alternative hike was great. Highlights were climbing Table Mountain (2-3h strenuous hike), surfing lesson, optional Whale Watching boat trip, Addo Elephant National Park and optional Schotia Private Game Reserve drive on the morning of departure.

Excellent trip for the family. Some long traveling days, but the travel enabled us to explore & experience the amazing scenery & wildlife South Africa has to offer. Great trip and an excellent guide. (Wern).

This was an excellent tour that never disappointed. While the tour was rated full on and we were busy, it never felt rushed or pressured. It definitely lives up to it's name, a great representation of the variety that is South Africa.

Just finished the Intro Sri Lanka experience and wow it was definitely an unforgettable experience! Our tour leader Matt went above and beyond - he was super knowledgable, fun, organised and passionate. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and group, we all bonded day 1 and laughed non stop for 12 days straight! We are even talking about having a reunion next year in South Africa. The tour itself is a perfect blend of cultural experiences, stunning beaches and hikes, animal conservation and delish food. This is my second tour with Intro and couldn’t recommend enough. The best trip with Explore ever!! Our guide Samantha was fabulous, gracious, hard working, funny, informative and a great driver. We saw and did so many things that I cannot list them all but they were all fantastic. We saw the Big Five plus dozens of other species plus fabulous venues and food. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to get to know South Africa and have a great time.
