Just finished the Intro Sri Lanka experience and wow it was definitely an unforgettable experience! Our tour leader Matt went above and beyond - he was super knowledgable, fun, organised and passionate. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and group, we all bonded day 1 and laughed non stop for 12 days straight! We are even talking about having a reunion next year in South Africa. The tour itself is a perfect blend of cultural experiences, stunning beaches and hikes, animal conservation and delish food. This is my second tour with Intro and couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks again Matt for sharing your love of such a beautiful country ❤️🇱🇰

We had the privilege of having Cole Reizenburg as our tour guide in the South African tour. Cole was so informative and knew everything about South African history. Because of him I’ve gained so much knowledge and understanding about Apartheid and Nelson Mandela. He recommended great books I’m now obsessed with reading. He is only 26 but he is extremely mature and has so much knowledge and experience and guided the tour so well. I can’t imagine the pressure of taking care of 13 of us on the tour and organizing everything but he was calm, respectful, patient and welcoming even with difficult people. A few people, who were a lot older than him on the group were quite rude but Cole stayed calm and continued to treat everyone with respect and kindness. I don’t know how he does it! Cole was helpful to book our extra activities after the trip like paragliding. As a local he was able to give us his own experience of South Africa and recommended amazing food! I’ve been on the Mexico tour and previous tours with other companies but Cole is by far the best tour guide I’ve had. He made the trip incredible!

Just returned home from the 12 day Intro Tour in South Africa and wow what an amazing experience it was! From start to finish the tour was so efficiently planned out. Our group leader was Dan and his proactiveness and willingness to go above and beyond really eased the whole process for a first time solo traveller; messaging about transport options from the airport, daily packing lists and itinerary reminders, as well as being a really enthusiastic and fun guy. His love for South Africa shone through and made our experience incredible. As well as that we had a local guide called Liezl whos knowledge on her country was next to none, regularly providing story times on the bus and cultural facts as well as her love for birds on the game drives haha! She also went above and beyond in making the trip both memorable and informative. The overall trip itinerary was perfect! Starting off with the important history of South Africa in Johannesburg which set the scene for the trip before travelling round on game drives and seeing all the amazing wildlife South Africa has, truly a once in a lifetime experience. The culture in South Africa is really incredible and the locals loved putting on performances for us and getting us involved. And finally we arrived in Cape Town, which stole my heart. The most beautiful city on earth! South Africa I will be back and Intro Travel, thank you for making this trip all that it is!

South Africa 12 Day Tour - 9th September 2024 Group Leader: Dan Local Guide: Sam Literally just landed home from this incredible trip this morning, and cannot stop gushing about what an incredible time I had. This was my first trip with INTRO Travel, but thanks to the experience provided by Dan and Sam, it definitely won;t be my last. Already got my deposit down for the next one! Firstly - the trip exceeded all of my expectations and was incredible value for money. The included travel, meals, activities, knowledge and accommodation were all amazing - I felt like I got the most incredible experience for the amount of money I paid. I;ve been on group trips before with other companies, but Dan and Sam were miles ahead of every other group experience trip I;ve had. Having two guides was absolutely amazing - there was more knowledge to go around but it also meant that the group could split into interest activities with ease. 2 guides between 15 people meant that nobody felt left behind - we had incredible organisation and planning from Dan, and invaluable local knowledge from Sam as a SA local. Given that most local guides clock off at dinner, Sam was absolutely incredible. She cooked traditional SA food for us, shared all of her wildlife and plant knowledge, and just seemed to happy to be sharing her country with our group. This totally elevated our experience of South Africa - Sam lives to live, and that personality was so infectious. I never imagined I;d be running in the ocean in the dark searching for sea louse - but Sam passion for life and her country just swept me up into experiences that will last a lifetime. I;m also so grateful for her honesty and vulnerability when talking about her experiences and her country. I hope to take her seize the day attitude into my home life!! Dan was our group leader, and managed the overall tour. I genuinely have no words for how special he made our trip. I;ve had experiences with other travel groups in the past (not INTRO) where the group leader just did not want to be there, and gave the bare minimum. Dan could not have been further from this. His passion for the country and for travelling meant that every hour felt like an adventure. He went above and beyond for our itinerary and accommodation, when he really didn;t need to. Whether it was extra view points, upgraded accommodation, or pushing for late checkouts - Dan did absolutely everything possible to make this trip unforgettable. From pre-arrival checkins and advice to on tour organisation. He put our group experience and enjoyment at the top of every list, and I cannot thank him enough for making a dream trip feel so effortless and stress free. Dan was also really helpful for post tour activities!! Lots of groups boast post-tour support, but Dan really provided. I was pretty organised before I flew out, but he still had recommendations and airport suggestions too. I know he also helped other members of the group to book hotels and extra activities on tour too! This is a really special INTRO feature - especially for solo travellers! If South Africa is on your list, book with INTRO - I cannot recommend it enough.. Made a group of friends for life, and have discovered a newfound love for a beautiful, new country ¿¦
