Excellent

Excellent wonderful experience. I felt safer here than in the USA especially with the skills and judgment of Lesley. This journey expanded my mind to the people, customs, foods, history, and wildlife of Namibia, leaving me with memories and great things to tell others about Namibia and about Gadventures.

Our guide Adam was amazing. He kept the trip moving and was very efficient and capable. There was some long days driving but to be expected given the vast areas.

Overall an excellent trip. It would have been nice to have stayed longer in some lodges particularly those at the end of the trip. Although I found the information at the Cheetah Conservation foundation interesting I didn't find it an entirely comfortable experience. I found the optional Living Desert Tour very enlightening and the sand dunes stunning. Perhaps it should be part of the trip.

This is a fantastic trip. Had a fantastic group and Hans was an excellent tour leader. I enjoyed the variety of scenery and places we visited and the wildlife viewing was amazing. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit Namibia. Only observations about the trip I would make are: there is very little down time which is a slight shame as two of the lodges at the end are wonderful; It would be better to include a proper visit to Windhoek in the itinerary on the last day as otherwise there is no real opportunity; The trip notes are out of date and say that you visit Waterburg Plateau but it's not included (although you do see it in the distance). These are minor points however.

Trip of a lifetime

An amazing, once in a lifetime experience which has left me humbled, speechless and overwhelmed in equal measure. From the landscapes of Brandberg to the wildlife and waterways of the delta and everything in between this truly is a trip to treasure I have fallen in love with both countries and will be back!

An incredible fortnight

Quite simply this wasnt just the best safari I have been on, it was the best holiday I have ever had - I just wish I had done it sooner! I knew Namibia was special when I realised that even on the long drives I was just gazing out the window enjoying the incredible scenery which is unlike anything else I have experienced during my travels in Africa. The wild camping in the Palmwag Concession and Haonib River Systems was fantastic with us barely seeing another vehicle during the whole time. In Palmwag we were fortunate enough to see numerous black rhino one of which we were able to approach on foot under the careful supervision of our guide, PJ. In Haonib we spent time with the desert elephants and again made an approach on foot. The highlight though was our guides skill and determination in tracking a desert lion for two hours which paid off with a memorable sighting.Etosha was fabulous with plenty of wildlife ranging from the big (elephants and rhino) to the small (honey badgers and a leopard tortoise).Every day we were expertly looked after back at camp by Simpson, Fritz and Asser and kept well fed with fabulous meals.Whether youre thinking of doing your first safari or are an old hand, I cannot recommend this trip enough. Im already planning a return visit to this spectacular country.
