A 10-day tour taking in vast but varied deserts (undulating dunes then rocky desert followed by flat desert then bare granite mountains with rock art), the raging Atlantic coast and then green savannah and salt pans teeming with antelopes, wildebeest and giraffes. Great guide and driver. We covered just under 3000 km so you do spend time travelling but it is a large country. Some accommodation in beautiful lodges. This tour is a photographer's dream.

This was a great trip with a full on itinerary that ensured you saw the stunning scenery the amazing wildlife and learned about the history and culture of this interesting country. Our guide paced the tour well so we saw all the sights but had some down time as well. This is an exciting tour, covering a lot of miles, but you see and learn so much - I would really recommend it for a mix of safari, walking and sight seeing.

Excellent

I absolutely would recommend this trip to anyone. It is a very active tour because you are on the go all of the time, but we saw and experienced so much. I got just enough of a taste to want to return. I would also recommend adding at least a day, or two, before and after the tour.

Excellent

Top-notch trip with G-Adventures/National Geographic to Namibia experiencing the amazing scenery of the Namib desert at Sossusvlei / Deadvlei, Sandwich Harbour / Skeleton Coast in Swakopmund, and wildlife in Etosha National Park. Throw in sundowner & nature drives, desert walks, a community visit to Mondesa township, optional activities in Swakopmund, and a visit to the Cheetah Conservation center, made a full and enriching journey through Namibia with newly found friends made on the G-Adventures group.

Wild landscapes, intrepid activities and all the laughs - what an epic trip! Taffy was an incredible guide - communicative, knowledgeable on local culture, and the best laugh! We felt safe in his presence, he's an amazing cook, and he's a credit to G Adventures!

Excellent

Excellent experience. A trip the family will not forget. My daughter especially made a connection with Johannes in the delta preparing the meal for the group. It is these types of interactions with people from different parts of the world that I really wanted to share with my kids. This trip achieved that and so much more. A terrific learning experience about flora, fauna and people of a different culture. All boxes ticked for Africa
