India Active outdoor Trips

It was a wonderful adventure full of insights, learnings, fun, beauty and a sensory smorgasbord of experiences. I loved the diversity within the cities and villages, the cultures, the activities offered and the modes of transportation. It was well organised and brilliantly led by Giri.

I came to India and Nepal with no expectations other than the desire to learn about the history and culture and meet great local people. While I enjoyed Nepal, I fell in love with India. India is more than I could have imagined. Everything about India delighted me - the history, the people, the food. Our CEO was proud of his homeland and he shared his passion. Before the trip ended I was already looking up other G Adventures in India to see where else I could go.

It was an incredibly memorable experience where everything seemed to click together: our guide, fellow travelers, the itinerary, the lovely people of India and Nepal. Much kudos to our guide, Govind, for weaving us into a seemingly harmonious cohesive unit. I'm still in touch with the members of my tour and there's been talk of us reuniting for a future trip in India! It's such a strange, unexpected but welcome feeling to miss the people I traveled with just as much as the sights and activities of the trip.

An excellent trip led by an excellent and extremely knowledgeable leader. In country guides and staff were all excellent. Some good challenging trekking at altitude making this a great trip if you wish to extend your achievements at altitude.

Everything was enjoyable. I loved Kerala, the scenery, the culture and above all, the people. We had a wonderful driver, who was just great. I'd love to come back to Kerala and would love to have him as a driver again. The guides in Kochi and Munnar were also great - they were knowledgeable and flexible. For Backwater tour, we were not too happy about the initial boat provided but the company swiftly changed to another boat, which was great too. The hotels were all good and the staff were very helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.
