Canada 13-Day Tours and Trips

The itinerary was very thorough and interesting. But unlike other Insight trips, there were no extra excursions offered, probably due to the packed itinerary. As a historian, I was disappointed that there was no opportunity to visit Fort Louisbourg, a critical location during the French and Indian War. Nor did anyone offer to help me make this excursion a possibility. Des;pite this disappointment, the overall Maritime Provinces experience was a positive one. Also, our guide was quite good. My advice would be to incorporate the visit to the Fort as part of the trip and possibly cut one day off of Prince Edward Island. One other comment: we have been on 5 Insight trips, and on this particular one we had to pay for the most non-included suppers ever.

This is the second G Adventures trip we have completed. There will be many more to come. The CEO Gabby, and the other guests made this a forever memory. Thank you for all of the hard work and dedication the G Adventures team expended for this excellent result.

The scenery is stunning - not dissimilar to parts of the Alps, but a lot more of it. Our guides (Mac and MP) were both very good - knowledgeable, informative and nothing was too much trouble - and were obviously very passionate about the Rockies. Mac is a great cook, and managed to produce food you really wouldn't expect when camping - pizza and homemade granola to name two highlights.

The views were to die for. Saw lots of wildlife. A really memorable experience. Mother Nature on display as well many interesting stops and visits. TD and driver were very knowledge of the areas visited- history, recommendations, etc. Highly recommend this trip. Exceeded my expectations.

The trip exceeded my expectations, both with sights and activities and with guidance. It had a great pace and every day had multiple highlights to remember. Our CEO, Fred as well as the group played a key role in this and made the experience even more enjoyable. It has been an unforgettable 2 weeks and an amazing way to explore Canada.

Trip design overall was amazing, guides very nice and professional, food delicious and varied. Sometimes it could be made clearer beforehand that certain (optional) activities are not necessarily possible for time issues, but that's probably not so much the guides' task and should be clearer in the trip description.
