The itinerary has a nice pace, not to fast, not to slow. I enjoyed almost all the places on the itinerary. The viking dinner theater was not that good, the food was OK. The salmon dinner served at one of the included dinners was over cooked and dry. All the other activities I enjoyed.
It was one of the most amazing trip I have taken. The most amazing sites and very interesting stories from the guides. The places where we stayed run a tight machine. Able to assist us any way possible, yet able to substation one bus after another without any inconvenience.
This trip was fantastic and my first time to Newfoundland and Labrador. Every day was a unique adventure packed with so many amazing destinations and activities, and I have never said “wow” so many times in a two-week period. Icebergs (and Iceberg beer!), puffins, lighthouses, maritime culture, Irish heritage, Viking and Basque history, hearty fare, zesty Newfie humor, and so much more…all experienced with a big friendly group of fellow travelers. I now have so many fond memories and would love to return to the province soon, and am looking forward to my next Trafalgar tour.
It was an outstanding tour with so much to see and enjoy. The tour director and coach driver were both outstanding and made the trip even more worthwhile. I would highly recommend the tour but perhaps suggest taking a later departure. The very cold, unseasonal weather meant a few missed photo opportunities and we had a summer wardrobe that we weren't able to wear.
Needed more time at visitors centre in port au choice & Gros Morne -especially the newest Visitor Centre. Needed a short stop & explanation of the Indigenous people’s cemetery .
