The American Dream. The Greatest Country in the World. The World’s Biggest Superpower. America’s position in recent history often makes it feel arrogant, but a trip to the US makes you realize just how wrong those notions are. Sure, America is forward-thinking, fast-moving and has one step into the future. But it also knows how to live. During a trip to USA you come across a number of beautiful traditions, great cuisines and spectacular attractions and there is no shortage of natural beauty either.

USA Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our USA tours

It was busy but very well organized and every moment was used well The only thing that was really not up to par was the food, in the Tetons it was ok nothing special but after that it went from bad to worse in Yellowstone the offerings didn’t change and it was just steam table or dinner food. The eat and experience meal was awful and the hostesses were not well taught then the farewell dinner the steak was tough All in all the food was a huge disappointment we were glad to get home for a good meal

The tour was well organized and the tour director was very well informed and entertaining. All of the parks visited were presented as advertised, all in all, a wonderful experience.

It was a great itinerary, we were able to spend 4 days inside the park and only had to move once. It was made even better by having as travel director, he was upbeat, knowledgeable and always accessible. Every time we turned around was going above and beyond to do things for us to make our trip that much better. the coach driver was also awesome and one heck of a driver.

This was our 3rd Insight Vacation tour and it did not disappoint. On all three, what made the difference was our tour directors. For Yellowstone Discovery was excellent. Very knowledgeable of Yellowstone history and able to communicate it in a concise, interesting and engaging format. Our rides between destinations were never boring but also allowed for adequate quiet/rest time. I liked the fact that we were in the Park the whole time and that we had 2 nights at each destination. Accommodations at the Lodges were clean, comfortable and basic. Don’t expect a TV or AC You don’t need it-just open your windows and enjoy nature. The additional expert speakers were great. Another plus is the comfort of the coaches-great leg room and very competent driver. From visiting hot springs, geysers to waterfalls and surprise animal sightings along the road, this was a wonderful way for us to see a beautiful part of America. Thank you and will use Insight again!

An amazing tour that hits all the high points of Yellowstone's stunning natural beauty, as well as some hidden gems. Our guide, was warm, friendly, funny and well-informed. There are full days, and walking, but nothing over a mile, and trails and boardwalks are easy to manage. Park food is not the best (not Insight's fault), but there are many good meals scheduled outside the park. A wonderful vacation/tour for a family of six adults. We decompressed for an extra night in Jackson Hole at the end and were glad we did.

We loved the itinerary and would do the tour again. Yes, there are some days when there is more driving than “looking “ but you have to be aware of where the parks are and the distance between each. The beds at the hotels are “ok” and the breakfast at most are in an acceptable category. A few had pretty good food.our driver and tour guide worked well together and both had a great rapport with the people in the group.

USA Tours - Highlights and Travel Trips

Sure, cities like Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles find their way into many traveler itineraries. They even offer more than enough to keep you occupied for weeks at a stretch. But America’s true beauty can be found in its wine regions, national parks, picturesque drives, exotic coastline and quaint little towns.

Tour Highlights

  • Ride to the top of the Empire State Building
  • Gawk at the majestic Grand Canyon National Park
  • Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Explore the natural phenomenon of Yellowstone National Park
  • Take the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty
  • Test your luck on the Las Vegas slot machines
  • Get lost in Florida's many theme parks

Travel Tips

  • The US is a massive country, covering 3.8 million square miles. Unless you’re planning on a (very) extended visit, be sure to do plenty of research beforehand and identify the attractions you most want to see.
  • Bear in mind that the US does not use the metric system like most of the world. This is especially important if driving a car, as speed limits and distances are measured in miles rather than kilometres.
  • Because it’s such a large and diverse country, you’ll find plenty of differences as you travel from state to state. The people, the cuisine, the accent and even the terminology changes between states. A soft drink might also be called a soda or a pop, depending on where you are.
  • Be sure to purchase health insurance before travelling to the US, as healthcare costs can be very expensive.
  • You want it? You got it. No matter the time of day or day of the year, you’ll always find an open shop or restaurant as you travel through the US - from fast food chains to old 24-hour highway diners.
