Itinerary

For those drawn to wild horizons and exhilarating hikes, "Hike Alaska: Glaciers and Denali" offers seven days of challenging adventure through some of North America’s most awe-inspiring landscapes. Starting and ending in Anchorage, you’ll trek through Denali National Park, ascend the dramatic Harding Icefield, and wander the forests around Seward. Experience the thrill of alpine vistas, savor fresh local salmon, and absorb the untamed beauty that defines the Last Frontier. This tour’s standout feature is its active pace and access to Alaska’s remote gems—ideal for young adults and experienced travelers seeking a true wilderness escape.

day 1Anchorage/Seward

After a brief welcome meeting with your CEO, travel towards Seward this morning with a stop at Alyeska Ski Resort in Girdwood for a rewarding hike on the North Face Trail. Climb over 2000 ft elevation up the north face of Mt Alyeska to expansive views of Turnagain Arm, the Girdwood Valley, the surrounding glaciers, and the towering peaks of the Chugach Range. Keep a look out for wildlife along the trail before reaching the Mt Alyeska gondola for an enjoyable descent back to the valley.
Afterwards, the group will transfer to the accommodations in Seward along Resurrection Bay. In the evening, enjoy dinner together around the campfire.

The booking porocess was easy, and customer service was responsive. I contacted 4 companies about the tour I was interested in. Two of the companies I contacted didn't answer me at all. One of them was basically a chatbot that said "do it yourself." Only bookmundi had human agents to help.
