It was a fantastic coach trip. Plenty of room on the coach. Great hotels! It was a very busy week - a lot to see - but that suited me as I didn't want to be away from home for too long. It ticked off most of the things on my bucket list. I highly recommend this trip!
All beautiful parks. With just enough time spent in each area. Plenty of great things offered to do. We loved how close we were to the rim of the grand canyon and all the other areas we were at. Just beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures every night and morning.
We had a great time on this Great American Desert trip. was a great travel director. He was on top of things. We did not know what to expect regarding the deserts. Glad we went in March as it was not hot. We had good weather. We learned a lot. I didn't know why they called Borax - 20 Team Borax and now I know.
Some of the stops are very quick, it much time to truly linger such as what occurred in Sedona. I also think there should be more time allowed to take in the sites of the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park.
Good trip but lots of bus time. The Be My Guest experience could have been better. Guest speaker tended to ramble and the food was not very good. Hotel locations at times were not convenient to sights. The welcome dinner and the departure dinner were not good. The tour director was fantastic. A wealth of knowledge and entertaining.
The trip was very expensive compared to other trips I have taken. Additionally, my gratuities to the director and driver were prepaid, even though I had not authorized them to be so. I asked my travel agent for an explanation and did not get an answer. Finally, our trip to Silverton and hooray on the million dollar highway was an extra cost. I thought it should’ve been included in the cost of the overall trip.
