Grand Canyon National Park Tours and Trips

It was a great way to see so many great places in a relatively short time. There wasnt an abundance of time at any one park but enough time to feel like you had truly been there. The distance between the parks was long but the guide and driver did their best to make the road trip interesting with breaks, videos, games, activities and conversation. There was no way to eliminate the driving. We very much enjoyed seeing the wildlife and appreciated that the driver slowed or stopped at each siting so pictures could be taken and everyone could enjoy the view.

The 15 day National Parks tour was excellent. Fifteen days was a long time though - up early, finishing early evening each day. However, it is an excellent way to see so many parks.

Every day was a wonderful surprise on this epic trip to the Western United States. The travel Director and bus driver were very organized and fun to travel with. The coach was very comfortable and the accommodations were mostly very nice. I traveled at the end of April and the lack of big crowds and temperate weather being able to see the snow still on the ground and mountain tops was a bonus. I highly recommend this trip.

Great itinerary, daily mileage was good, hotels very nice. Comfort stops well planned and destinations did not disappoint. Tour director and driver made our trip exceptional, made sure that all details taken care of, daily information kept the group on track , altogether one of the best trips ever!!

The tour was excellent, with a great your leader (Rick) and many great sites to visit. There was a lot of driving, but that is your best expected in such a big country as the USA. The accommodations were mostly similar types of hotels, all very comfortable. Mobile coverage was a little dodgy, especially in Yellowstone Park, not surprisingly. The Grand Canyon was magnificent, with plenty of time to enjoy it. Overall an excellent adventure.

Overall, the trip was fine. The parks are certainly beautiful. However, there are long distances to travel between parks. Unfortunately, the company in the US assigned a vehicle that may be fine for in-city travel but not for traveling long distances. Thirteen of us were cramped into a vehicle that should not be carrying more than 10 with little space to place our backpacks. Also, the tour description on World Expeditions website does not take into account the travelling time and some of the activities mentioned proved to be unfeasible due to shortage of time. We had 10 Germans and 3 English speakers in our group, which made the group dynamics a bit awkward but Albi, the guide, did a good job of managing the situation. Albi was knowledgeable and did a good job of managing the logistics. But traveling comfort can certainly be improved.
