USA Art architecture Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our Art architecture USA tours

This trip allowed a good overview of the parks. Some parks there was not enough to explore on your own, where others there was a day or more. I still very much enjoy this trip.

This was a wonderful tour giving you a good overall experience of four fantastic parks. Accommodation was 3/5 but the rest of the tour out weighed this rating. The optional experiences were very good. We did the helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon and the walk through the Antelope Canyon (stunning!). I would highly recommend the tour for a first time look at these parks.

This the first motor coach tour my sister and I have taken, and we were pleasantly surprised! I truly enjoyed myself and the tour was excellent! We wanted a tour of our Nation’s history for the 250th anniversary celebration, and this itinerary for the Historic Highlights tour checked off all the boxes - Washington DC, Jamestown, Mt. Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg, Monticello, and Philadelphia. I also enjoyed the Skyline Drive. Some specific comments: St. John’s Episcopal Church: The guide here was one of my favorites - he truly painted a picture of the Second Virginia Congress where Patrick Henry famously said, “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death.” Gettysburg: Our guide in Gettysburg was really brought Gettysburg to life. He could answer any and all of our questions with ease. Also one of my favorites. Jennifer: Was energetic, organized and knowledgeable. She made everything look easy, which is hard to do. Motor coach: Our motorcoach was modern, new and always clean – the motor coach driver kept everything in perfect shape. The biggest challenge was the footrests. I hit my shins a couple of times on them. I am surprised they did not have padding on them to protect taller people whose shins are VERY close to them. Overall: The timing for all entrances, ticket, and museums was impeccably organized and went smoothly – impressive. Hotels: Great selection. Wyndam Gettysburg: The air conditioner could only be on high, so when I slept it blew on my face, giving me a headache. I tried everything – putting pillows next to my side to block the air - and finally just put my feet at the head of the bed and slept that way so the air would not blow on my face. I should note we had two queen beds, and my sister had no problems in the bed closest to the bathroom. The bed itself was concave – I wish I took a photo of it but got busy and forgot. I did not get much sleep at this hotel! Philadelphia Marriott Old City: There was a prom party in the ballroom under our room. We could hear the loud beat until 1am. We called to complain, but they really did not care and there wasn’t anything they could do – apparently there wasn’t another room for us. Fortunately, we have a “fan” app on our phone, so we turned this on as loud as possible so we could fall asleep. But you should know that this could happen again. Perhaps ask for room NOT near or above the ballroom.

This was my first experience with a tour, but it was a bucket-lister. Three of the 5 Utah National Parks! The Grand Canyon; Bryce, Zion, Monument Valley, Antelope Valley. Plus Lake Powel. Things that I have seen in books, etc. They are real!

It was a fantastic coach trip. Plenty of room on the coach. Great hotels! It was a very busy week - a lot to see - but that suited me as I didn't want to be away from home for too long. It ticked off most of the things on my bucket list. I highly recommend this trip!

All beautiful parks. With just enough time spent in each area. Plenty of great things offered to do. We loved how close we were to the rim of the grand canyon and all the other areas we were at. Just beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures every night and morning.
