Based on experience The itinerary and package may not be for elders due to lots of FAST walking. We got off the bus upon arrival to places to see, without having a proper expecation on what to see and most of the time were just told little infomation about the place, then left by ourselves and just advised to return to the bus at a certain time (Usually a very short time, about 30 minutes or an hour). In the last 2-3 days of the trip, the air conditioning failed to work, with only the bus sunroof slightly opened, which left us sweating under a hot weather and the slighltly opened sunroof allowing pollens to get in, creating health risk for those with allergies, but still left without a choice. Tour guides do not seem to be on top of it and cannot advocate enough for guests. The issue was not resolved until the bus engine failed along the road, which forced the company to get another bus, and the guests to walk to the destination. The free time in Stratford-upon-Avon was extended (nothing much to see and do) due to the time it took for the new bus to arrive. After our free time, the guests were asked to walk again where the new bus would be, rather than letting it pick us up by The Jester in Stratford-upon-Avon, where we were initially informed. Upon arrival to where the new bus would be, we had to wait another hour or so under the sun on a hot weather with some drizzle which made it worse, until it arrived. Another burden was placed on guests as they decreased the allotted 2-hour time of seeing Oxford, England (next destination) to only 1 hour, which left us in a rush again and neither really seeing much nor enjoying the place. After the trip, I got sick, most likely from the guests sneezing, coughing, sweating, and the bus poor condition. So many contributing factors that could have been addressed properly, had the company and its representatives were on top of it and concerned enough. I personally do not recommend it, especially for elders and famlies with kids.
Phenomenal
The trip was ok, except that the guides should have more coordination and information about the cancelation of the ferry because of the storm in the entire UK. We got up so earlier, we got breakfasts box, and we have to return again to the hotel in Glasgow. We knew Dublin a little bit because we have to return to Liverpool and continue the trip.
I wasnt satisfied with this trip because we couldnt enjoy more time in Dublin because we miss a day and next day the visit was fast. The news talk about the storm, I think the guides should have more information about the ferrys cancelation. I woke up early for nothing and I didnt have a good breakfast.
Because the weather condition of the storm in Glasgow, we did not explore more Dublin. The guides should have more information about the cancelation of ferries, we got up so earlier for nothing.
I appreciate having the information of the tour that can be found in My Trip, especially the detailed itinerary with time, list of hotels and the visa letter. Our guide, Raquel, was great I liked very much how she managed our tour. I also liked how she managed other passengers who always come late during meeting time before the bus leaves. I appreciate very much that the bus has usb charger. The things I did not like was that our bus temperature was too hot during our trip from London to Cambridge, it caused me headache. Me, together with most of the passengers were complaining and wanted to change bus instead of us having to endure that kind of temperature for the entire trip. Maybe the driver do not yet know how to operate the temperature controls, since I heard he has just received his license? Good thing it was resolved later in that day. There was an instance that i felt our driver, Justin, have been rude to me during our Day 4 tour in Edinburgh. He raised his voice to me when he saw me carrying my tripod while entering the bus. Maybe because my tripod was unfolded that time around 1.2-meter long when unfolded He scolded that I should have put it in the bus compartment, together with the luggages. My tripod was unfolded because I was running from outside, going into the bus because of sudden heavy snow/rain. Of course I did not have time to fold my tripod and put it inside my carrying bag because I was in a rush and was already getting drenched. I always carry my tripod inside the bus in all of my trips, and that was the first time that I was scolded for bringing a tripod in a bus, and I believe that bringing tripod inside the bus is not prohibited, as long as it does not bother other passengers or case safety hazard/issues. Please educate me if it really is prohibited. If it is not, please educate Justin. Despite those two incidents, I am overall happy with the trip. I will avail another trips with Europamundo in the future, and will recommend Europamundo to others.
Overall experience was good. Our driver cum guide cum tour manager Mr Lukas was very nice and cooperative and took very good care of we all which made our tour pleasant and enjoyable.
All other members of group also agree with this feedback. Overall tour was excellent except hotels particularly at Glasgow
Our guide Cian was wonderful. He was easy to understand through his Irish accent. The tour was well run. Some other passengers did hold us up at times being late to the bus. At one time we departed more than 30 minutes late which made us miss an event in the next city. Overall, though, we had an excellent trip and would definitely book another
