Thrill seekers, look no further than the "Three-Day Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu." This action-packed tour combines mountain biking, trekking, and zip-lining through the Andes’ most breathtaking landscapes. Traverse tropical jungles, alpine peaks, and a patchwork of local farms while sampling fresh coffee and fruits. Designed for young adults and adventurous spirits, this tour’s USP lies in its exhilarating mix of activities and vibrant local flavor—promising an adrenaline-fueled route to Machu Picchu that’s anything but ordinary.

day 1 - CUSCO- ABRA MALAGA – SANTA TERESA

We will pick you up and travel by land to the Sacred Valley to the town of Ollantaytambo (2,792 m). We stop there for a break and last minute shopping before boarding our bus that will take us to the high pass of Abra Málaga (4,316 m). From here, we will begin our descent by bike.

We will gear up with appropriate wear and receive a brief introduction from our guide. Here begins our journey down from the high peaks near the glacier into the jungles (3–4 hrs). We will have lunch together and later a short bus ride will take us to Santa Teresa (1,550 m) to spend the evening in the hot springs and rest for the night.

day 2 - SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES

Today, we begin early to make our way to the town of Aguas Calientes (2,040 m). Along the way, we will stop to check out the local fields of mostly native fruits and plenty of wild vegetation. Here, we will also have the opportunity to experience zip-lining or canopy tour (additional cost).

Lunch will be at the Hydroelectric Station (2,070 m) followed by a brief rest. We will then hike for about three hours to get to the town of Aguas Calientes for dinner and rest.

day 3 - MACHU PICCHU

This is the most important day as we visit one of the wonders of the world, the majestic city of Machu Picchu. We will wake early to have breakfast and then board a bus up to Machu Picchu.

If we are lucky, we will get to see the first rays of the sun as dawn breaks to light up the magical mountain. The guided tour through the Sanctuary will last roughly two to three hours. Later we will begin our return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and rest before our late afternoon train to Ollantaytambo.

Following our journey by train, our land transport will await our transfer to Cusco and back to our hotel.
