day 1 - Arrival Buenos Aires

We welcome you at Buenos Aires Airport (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery or the International Airport Ezeiza), then transfer to the hotel located in the city center of the city. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city on your own.

At night a transfer will pick you up to enjoy an atypical dinner experience where you will learn about the Argentine culture, taste fantastic local dishes, drink exceptional wine, and mingle with fellow travelers in a fun setting. This is a five main course dinner which includes:

1. Welcome: Wine- base cocktail and a Patagonia trout tartar.

2. Empanadas: You will learn how to make your own empanadas. Fillings are beef stew or capresse (cheese mozzarella and provolone, roasted cherries tomatoes and basil)

3. Picada: Typical Argentine cuts of meat to nibble.

4. Main Course: 200 grs of tenderloin accompanied by roasted vegetables

5. Desserts: Tasting of sweets and cheeses.

Mate tasting and alfajores class dulce de leche mousse.

day 2 - Sightseeing in Buenos Aires – Dinner Tango Show

Today you will enjoy a fantastic introduction to Buenos Aires.

In three fun-filled and exciting hours (including pick-up and drop-off times) our team of reliable and professional drivers and very passionate and knowledgeable tour guides will tour you in a small group of no more than 12 guests around Buenos Aires city. They will provide live commentary full of information, facts and insights that you will not be able to find in any book or travel guide. This tour offers the perfect balance between driving and light walking, which will allow you to get a great overview of the city’s most iconic areas and districts in just half of a day. You can also get off the vehicle and walk around and have a deeper understanding of the key locations within Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, La Boca neighborhood, and many other attractions.

We highly recommend doing this tour as it is a great introduction to some of the key highlights of Buenos Aires, perfect for giving you a chance to find your way around and decide where to spend more time later on. Then we go back to our hotel.

At night a transfer will pick you up to enjoy a dinner tango show in one of the most prestigious dance venues of Buenos Aires. Located in the heart of San Telmo, Buenos Aires old quarter, this show features over 30 artists on stage with a live orchestra that will leave you speechless.

Entering the building is like traveling back in time: it used to be an old tenement house, and the interior is very well preserved. Featuring both tango and folklore, this is one of the most complete shows Buenos Aires has to offer. Then we go back to our accommodation.

day 3 - Buenos Aires

After breakfast free day to visit the city.

We recommend doing a Gaucho Day tour to an Argentinian Ranch (Optional tour - non included) where you will be able to explore the countryside of Buenos Aires and learn all about the gauchos and ranch life on the Pampas in an exciting full-day. It also includes visits to a historical rural town and silversmith museum, visits to a ranch, loads of food and wine, dancing, horseback-riding, gaucho horse skills display, and convenient pick-up and drop-off at your hotel.

day 4 - Buenos Aires – Iguazú – Visit Brazilian Side of the Fal

At the indicated time we transfer to Buenos Aires airport to take our flight to our next destination: Iguazu. Upon arrival at Iguazu Airport (IGR) we transfer to the hotel.

Then, we will do an excursion through the Brazilian Falls, visiting a traditional footbridge with wonderful panoramic views. The extension of the walkways is 1,200 meters from where you get a spectacular panoramic view of the 275 falls that make up the Iguazu Falls, of which the most important on the Brazilian side are: Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamin Constant and Salto Unión or Garganta of the Devil. After the tour, you have access to the panoramic elevator that allows you to reach the bus that will drop us at the access portal. Then we go back to our hotel in the Argentinian Side.

day 5 - Visit Argentinian Side of the Falls

Today we will visit the Argentinian side of the falls, where we will enjoy of amazing views from different angles and perspectives. Entering through the visitor center, several walks are carried out in the jungle to admire the giants of this green world, the jungle that gives us its aromas, its colors, its freshness, a unique contact with this increasingly scarce biome in the world. The walkways offer wonderful visits to the falls and the opportunity to be in contact with the fauna. From colorful insects to the curious coatis to a great variety of birds such as magpies, jotes and toucans, you will get to experience a wildlife treat! A ride on the narrow-gauge train completes Las Delicias for adults and children, it is a service that links the 3 different circuits or walkways of the National Park: lower, upper and devil's throat.

day 6 - Puerto Iguazú - Salta

At the indicated time we transfer to Puerto Iguazu Airport to take our flight to our next destination: Salta, in the north region of Argentina.

Upon arrival we transfer to our accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city on our own. We recommend visiting Cerro San Bernardo, which has amazing views of Salta´s city.

day 7 - Salta - Salinas Grandes - Purmamarca

We begin our day early, setting out after breakfast to traverse breathtaking landscapes. Following the parallel route of the Train of the Clouds railway through Quebrada del Toro, we ascend to 4080 meters above sea level, arriving at San Antonio de los Cobres for a lunch offered in the village.

After lunch, we return back to the vehicle and continue along Route 40 until we reach Salinas Grandes at the Salta-Jujuy border. Descending via Cuesta de Lipán, known for its frequent condor sightings, we arrive in Purmamarca, home to the stunning Hill of Seven Colors. Our journey progresses to Tilcara, where we settle in for the night

day 9 - Quebrada de Humahuaca - Salta

Today, we visit the Unesco World Heritage Quebrada de Humahuaca.

Our first stop is the the Purmamarca and its colorful “Seven Colours Hill”. We enter the Quebrada de Humahuaca, passing through the Posta de Hornillos, continuing towards the town of Tilcara. We continue to Huacalera, passing through the Tropic of Capricorn, from where you can see the colors of the hill called “Pollera de la Colla”.

We also visit the mystical Church of Uquía, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels (important vestige in the area of the Cuzqueña school) are located. Then we arrive in Humahuaca and admire its important Cathedral and the Independence Monument (El Indio) by the sculptor Soto Avendaño. After lunch we return to observe “Paleta del Pintor” mountain range that frames the town of Maimara from the route. And at the end of the afternoon, we arrived in the city of Salta.

day 10 - Salta

day 11 - Salta - El Calafate

At the indicated time we transfer to Salta Airport to take our flight to the land of glaciers: El Calafate. Upon arrival a transfer will be waiting for us to take us to our accommodation.

day 12 - Perito Moreno Glacier with Safari Nautico Boat Trip

We dedicate this day to one of the World’s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier.

This ice field- type glacier flows down from the Patagonian Icefield and is the third largest glacier at 22.000 square kilometers, after Antarctica (14 million sq km) and Greenland (1 million sq km). Due to uniquely favorable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process.

Our journey leads us to the very front of the glacier, just meters away from your eyes. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier and the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, is an experience that you will not forget anytime soon.

We then depart to “Bajo de las Sombras” from where, you will board the catamaran boat to navigate the Lago Rico. Here, appreciate the amazing ice wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and its icebergs. After, we return to our accommodation in El Calafate.

day 13 - El Calafate

day 14 - El Calafate - Ushuaia - Beagle Channel Boat Trip

At the indicated time we transfer to El Calafate Airport to take our flight to our next destination: Ushuaia. Upon arrival we transfer from Ushuaia Airport to the Hotel in the city center.

In the afternoon we go the pier and depart from the local seaport toward Alicia Island. During this journey, we will find a colony of South American sea lions. Then we sail to Bird Island to watch king shags and imperial shags living close to their nests, and from spring through fall we can even find their breeds. Again, we head east towards another small island where, depending on the season, we can view South American fur seals. Very close to this island is Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, an authentic symbol of Ushuaia, built in 1919. From there we have a view of the island where rock shags live.

On our way back to Ushuaia, we disembark at Bridges Island to walk along a path for the interpretation of wildlife, while listening to the history of the native inhabitants, the Yamanas. On this island, we can find the largest Yamana's "concheros" (shelly deposits) of the region. As this is the largest island, we reach the highest panoramic point from which we can enjoy amazing views of the Beagle Channel with the town of Ushuaia in the distance. Then we go back to our hotel.

day 15 - Tierra del Fuego National Park with Train

Leaving the city of Ushuaia, heading southwest, we will travel the national route No. 3, towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. After crossing the Pipo River bridge, next to the Ushuaia Golf Club, we will arrive at the station of the Austral Fueguino Railway, the End of the World Train, where we will get on board one of the most magical trains.

Along the road surrounded by Lenga forests and peat bogs, we will arrive at Lake Acigami (formerly Lake Roca), a lake of glacial origin, framed by mountains and forests. The last section of the tour takes us to Bahía Lapataia. In Bahía Lapataia, in addition to the marine coast, rich in mollusks and mussels, we will find vestiges of the ancient aboriginal people that inhabited the region. There, we will have time to walk the walkway from which we can take pictures and enjoy the feeling of being at the end of the world. Then we will return to our accommodation in Uhsuaia.
