Our experience with this travel specialist was nothing short of exceptional. The owner, Lahiru, helped us make a detailed plan for our stay. As first-time visitors to the country, we had a rough idea of what we wanted to do, and Lahiru helped us get the most out of our trip. We wanted to experience as much of the food, culture, history, and wildlife of Sri Lanka as possible, and we ended up staying in seven different places and using a variety of transportation modes including car, train, Tuktuk, and a 4x4 safari jeep. Every stage of our tour was completed without a hitch thanks to Our Personal Driver Asanka who were always on time - or early - to pick us up and drop us off. All of the guides at the UNESCO sites spoke fluent English, were highly knowledgeable, and were pleasant company to be with. The accommodations and restaurants that Lahiru recommended were exactly what we were looking for. The hotels were comfortable and in great locations, while the restaurants were always of high quality and had friendly and helpful staff. Lahiru was easily accessible throughout the trip in case we needed anything, In the end, everything went so smoothly that we never needed to contact Lahiru during the trip. Sri Lanka is an incredible country to visit, with its warm and welcoming people and rich cultural heritage. My husband and I have just returned from an incredible 3-week honeymoon in Sri Lanka, meticulously planned by Lahiru. It was truly an unforgettable experience, from the moment we landed in Colombo until our departure. We began our journey in Colombo, where we stayed at a luxurious beach resort overlooking the Indian Ocean. Our private driver took us on a guided tour of the city, allowing us to explore the bustling streets, learn about the country's rich history and culture, and sample some of the delicious local cuisine. We also visited the beautiful Gangaramaya Temple, a must-see for anyone visiting Colombo. From Colombo, we traveled to Sigiriya, home to the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress. We climbed the ancient rock to take in the stunning views from the top, and also visited the nearby Dambulla Cave Temple, which features intricate Buddhist frescoes and statues carved into the rock. Next, we traveled to Kandy, a picturesque city located in the hills of central Sri Lanka. We stayed at a stunning hotel nestled in the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. During our stay, we visited the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist temple and UNESCO World Heritage site, and took a scenic train ride through the countryside to visit a tea plantation and learn about Sri Lanka's famous tea industry. Our journey continued to the southern coast, where we stayed at a luxurious beach resort in Mirissa. We went on a whale watching excursion, which was a highlight of our trip, and also took a day trip to the historic city of Galle, exploring its charming streets and fortifications. Throughout our journey, we were accompanied by private drivers who made our travels comfortable and stress-free. Lahiru had carefully arranged all of our transportation, accommodations, and activities, and we never had to worry about a thing. After hearing from friends about this tour operator, we decided to give it a try and We booked a high-end 10-day trip to Sri Lanka for our family of 3 (two parents and one young adult child). The trip was well organized and they made our trip very memorable. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay. The choice of accommodations was superb. Amazing trip, all the activities were so much fun! especially the train journey to the hill.
