Sri Lanka Tours and Trips for Seniors

Itinerary was great and this was the main reason we chose this trip and Sri Lanka has fantastic sites and culture to experience - unfortunately we counted on having an appropriate guide and tour director who could assist with making the most of the experience - unfortunately our guide was not fluent in English, could not answer questions or explain the sites, culture and history in any meaningful way and we were forced to communicate critical aspects of the itinerary with him on whatsap, initiated by us not the tour director - the worst tour director I have had in nearly 45 years of travel and over 50 tours

An amazing all round trip - Sri Lanka is one of my favourite countries I have been to so far ! Sri Lanka truly offers everything from beaches ,mountains,safaris and forests. The people are so friendly and the food is incredible . This trip enables you to see the whole of Sri Lanka at a fair pace - you able to see all the main attractions and the lesser known spots as well . There is a perfect amount of free time allowing you time to relax by the pool or enjoy the hotel . The hotels were of high standard and the service at all of them was exceptional. I felt like we had sufficient time in every place and everything ran so smoothly.We were able to see and learn so much in the two weeks. This holiday was incredibly well planned and run . Our trip Sri Lankan Highlights was in September 2025. We learnt so much about Sri Lanka and its lovely people. There was a good mix of culture and wildlife - we saw lots of elephants, bats, jackal, monkeys, birds, crocodiles, reptiles. Our guide Mahen with co-pilot and driver kept us safe and entertained for the whole trip.

My trip to Sri Lanka was truly magical. Not only did we see over 100 elephants while on safari, but we also spent three hours gazing out of a train window at the misty tea hills of Nuwara Eliya. This trip was the perfect mix of sightseeing and activities - we travelled by boat, tuk-tuk, train, 4x4, and even on foot during a hike up Sigiriya! I travelled in September, so we had quite a bit of rain in Kandy, but it only added to the lush, tropical scenery, which was absolutely beautiful. Sri Lanka should be experienced by everyone!

Just returned from this trip. It was a brilliant 2 weeks. So varied and enjoyable. The hotels are a great standard with exceptional food choice and a pool at every one. Everyday is something different, lots of opportunities to spot wildlife, learn about the culture and see beautiful scenery. Sri lanka is a wonderful country, you won't regret booking this holiday.

The itinerary offered a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and comfort. Every day brought something new — from wildlife safaris and scenic nature walks to temple visits and authentic local experiences — all complemented by stays in beautiful premium hotels, which provided the perfect place to relax and recharge. One of the standout highlights was the food — every meal was bursting with flavour, and the cooking class in Ella was one of my favourite experiences. We made eight delicious curries with a local family — such a fun and memorable way to connect with the culture! Sri Lanka is an absolute must!
