Sri Lanka 7-Day Tours and Trips

A lovely week with good hotels - my first 'adventure' holiday and as a solo traveller. The cycling day is great for viewing the countryside and getting nearer to rural communities, elephants in the wild (and sometimes on the main roads) including a rarer tusker and a baby, temples enriched by insightul explanations of customs from our guide, climbing the Sigiriya rock was strenuous but paced with good railings for support, interesting tea-growing and processing, The Grade 3 white-water rafting is definitely worth doing and not that scary though you need to be mobile to descend the steps to the river. Good food, if spicy, though Sanjeewa was a helpful guide on how spicy! Very straightforward booking, direct communication by phone and email, easy arrangement of pre-tour hotel to fit with my prior commitments in Sri Lanka. Very interesting tour, nicely challenging for my inexperience of such trips, helped by being in a small and friendly group. Our guide, Sanjeewa, was a really great guide - very knowledgeable and professional but always there to support us with a good sense of humour too. Felt very safe throughout and very careful driving from Donald.

Another fantastic G Adventures tour in Sri Lanka. Unforgettable memories made with a local tour guide who was so passionate and knowledgeable. Exception tour of Sri Lanka with Sujith Hewawellalage. Sri Lanka is an incredible country to visit and an experience not to be missed. The culture and history are fascinating, the scenery and wildlife breathtaking and the people generous, warm and friendly. I was incredible lucky to spend 8 days in Sri Lanka with a fabulous tour guide and amazing human being Sujith (Roshan) Hewawellalage. His knowledge of Sri Lanka and management of the tour were impressive. From the moment I met Sujith at the airport I was confident in his abilities as a safe and responsible driver and an intelligent and caring guide. I have travelled all over the world and taken a huge variety of tours and this trip with Sujith still rates as one of the best I have experienced. I was travelling alone on this trip but I have no doubt that Sujith would be the perfect guide for couples, families and small groups. You won�t regret it

We have just spent a week in Sri Lanka for our honeymoon and use Aitken Spence as our chauffeur guide for our trips. We had Rodney as our chauffeur guide and I have never met someone so lovely, calm, patient, helpful and passionate. He is a credit to the company and made our visit to Sri Lanka very relaxing and took care of our every need. He was punctual every day for our meeting times, enlightened us with all sorts of information about Sri Lanka during our trip which was very interesting and made sure we were comfortable all the time. The car was comfortable and very clean every day and had enough leg room and space for all our luggage. We fit a lot into our 1 week stay in Sri Lanka and it would not have been the same without using Aitken Spence. I would 100% recommend this company, all you need to do is sit back and relax while everything is taken care of for you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Highlights of Sri Lanka Tour, booked through Wendy Wu Tours Australia, and delivered through Aitken Spence Travel Services of Columbo, Sri Lanka. The hotels selected for our accommodation were generally of a high standard with good facilities and diligent staff. The restaurants selected for food provision were excellent and generally provided a great selection of Sri Lankan and European style dishes, catering to the diverse needs of our group. The sites visited, provided a great cross section of the best tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, and satisfied our desire to see what this beautiful destination has to offer. The services provided by our tour guide, Harsha Karunaratne, were of the highest standards. Harsha was very professional, diligent and caring, going far beyond reasonable expectations to ensure that each member of our tour group received the best Sri Lankan experience possible. Harsha's team consisting of Kumara (Security and Valet) and Bundoo (Bus Driver and Porter) were just wonderful. Negotiating Sri Lanka's back roads and busy city roads requires skill and attention to safety at all times, and Bundoo pulled it off brilliantly. Kumara made sure all the guests on the tour stayed safe and provided a great sense of fun and community during our travels. Harsha and his team's attention to detail was fantastic and helped make our stay in Sri Lanka exceptional.

It exceeded our expectations. The tour was fantastic, great group of people. The tour guide Mak went above and beyond our expectations. He was informative, fun, caring and gave us a real insight into the culture, people and had a vast knowledge of each place we visited. He went out of his way to make my birthday special whilst we were on the trip, and always ensured we were organised and happy. Fantastic trip all round.
