day 1 - Arrive Sri Lanka

We'll pick you up at Colombo International Airport and transfer you to the Negombo Beach Resort, where you can relax after your flight. Overnight in Negombo

day 2 - Elephant Orphanage and Sigiriya's Rock

After breakfast, we drive to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to watch the elephants being fed and bathing and playing in the river.

After, we continue to Sigiriya via Dambulla for lunch. In the late afternoon, we’ll climb Sigiriya's lion rock. Overnight in Sigiriya.

day 3 - Explore the Anuradhapura Ancient City

Full day sightseeing in Anuradhapura with a visit to Jethawanaramaya, Ritigala, Mihinthale, etc. Anuradhapura is the birthplace of Sinhala civilization and one of the world's largest archeological sites. It is considered the greatest monastic city of the ancient world and was founded in the 5th century BC. Afternoon drives via the huge Aukana Buddha statue to Sigirya for overnight.

day 4 - Visit the Magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple

Today we drive to Polonnaruwa for sightseeing, and returning to Dambulla for lunch. After lunch, we head to Dambulla Cave Temple. We will also visit a spice garden to learn about Ayurvedic medicine.

Overnight in Kandy.

day 5 - Explore the last Royal Kingdom of Kandy

Full-day sightseeing in Kandy today. Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka, set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, and home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine.

day 6 - Explore the British Teaplanters Colonial “Capital”

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, also known as Little England. Enjoy driving through the breathtaking lush green sceneries and breathe in the cool climates of misty hills. We'll enjoy a scenic train ride to the hill stations.

day 7 - Climbing Little Adam’s peak

Today is adventurous! We'll Visit the Ravanna waterfalls and climb Little Adam’s peak, trek to Lipton’s Seat, and discover Ella's Rock, Nine Arches Bridge and Demodara. Afternoon drive to the Tissamaharama lake district near the Yala National Park.

Overnight in Tissamaharama.

day 8 - Full day Jeep Safari in Yala

Early in the morning, we will take you to Yala National Park for a Jeep safari. It is home to the world's highest density of leopards, as well as a wealth of other species from elephants to birds. Overnight in Yala.

day 9 - Explore Galle

After breakfast we will take you to Galle to visit the Galle Dutch Fort, museum, and more. Then, we continue to nearby beach resort Hikkaduwa.
