The staff was amazing Highly recommend this tour as we saw all the main sights of Eygpt The cruise was spectacular
Perfectly ordered itinerary, ending with the star of the show…the pyramids of Giza
All the places on the printed itinerary were terrific and we did visit them but in a very different order and the itinerary was never updated to reflect what we actually saw on each day. We would have loved a corrected copy of the itinerary so we could ID our photos and timeline. Instead we were given a verbal update before each day which was too late to inform independent choices we would have liked to make. If we had access to our trip documents we could cut and paste it ourselves but since we did not, this seems like a simple task the office could provide which would make the experience much more professional. The ship, the guide, the food, the group and the experiences otherwise were great.
We did not have a Travel Director because we had a group of six people even though we paid to have one when we chose Insight Vacations, based on their tour description. There was no cohesion with the tour as we were shuffled from one guide to another. Up until two days before the tour we were told that we had a Tour Director, Hani Kamona wrote us an email. We were provided with a smaller bus which lacked the comfort of a coach. This was particularly evident on our 2-hour trip to Dendera.
