The tour was amazing overall. We did not find the itinerary rushed at all and felt like we had enough time at each attraction. Kriszte the tour leader was amazing and we enjoyed talking with her and her positive spirit and energy was a great plus. Our bus driver Josef was extremely skilled and we felt very safe. The itinerary was very well thought out and the drives through the alps are something you have to experience for yourself words will not describe the beauty of the journey. The itinerary changed for the Swiss Alps portion of the trip, due to hotel scheduling circumstances I believe, however the optional excursions that were put in place were more than sufficient. Mount Pilatus and a trip to Heididorf were substituted for Jungfraujoch as the itinerary was re-worked and they were both very enjoyable experiences. The Tyrolean folk evening was a lot of fun and the meal was very good. Overall, we found the itineraries, excursions, tour leader, bus driver, and experience with Expat outstanding. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the scenic parts of Europe at a reasonable pace that does not like to drive.
The tour was absolutely incredible! So many sights to see and a great amount of exercise- which we most definitely needed. Incredible views, food, and our tour leader Kriszti was so well organized, knowledgeable and confident. She handled every situation perfectly and was so pleasant to talk with. We felt safe in her hands! It's also an important trip as we got engaged on the trip! So a special place in our life is now Switzerland. I can't get over the views - and the driver! Excellence all around!
We loved all the places we visited, but only wished we had more time to enjoy the great hotels that we stayed in. Our tour guide Kriszti was always trying to give everyone all that they were looking for in a vacation. She was so knowledgeable and sweet!
It was an amazing tour with an amazing tour guide and driver. The itinerary was greatly planned and executed. The optional excursions were also great. A very hectic schedules but manageable. We had an amazing tour guide with Dee, she was so knowledgeable and very helpful and fun.
Tour Leader (Dee): 5/5 Driver (Steve): :5/5 Hotels: : 4/5 Food: : 5/5 Sightseeing: : 5/5 We have an excellent tour leader (Dee) and a very responsible driver (Steve). Thank u for their service. Overall, this tour has many beautiful places we visited, ie. Neuschwanstein castle, Interlaken, Jungfraujoch Mountain Top, Pisa Tower, Venice and more. The hotels and food provided are generally alright.
The scenery especially in Switzerland was just beautiful. Worth every bit of the trip. You will walk a lot - minimum day of walking was 5 miles according to our phone app (keep in mind you're on the bus for significant portions of the day, steep inclines and uneven footing almost everywhere you go). Only 2 hotels had AC and no fans (Amazon sells a small personal fan you can use as a backup recharge source for your phone that worked very well). Rooms are super small so be prepared. Tyrol Folk Evening is worth the visit. It a fun show and I felt worth the money. Jungfrau was another beautiful place to visit. I felt the price a touch much but the scenery second to none so ultimately worth it to me. It a view you can't get many other places in the world. The Swiss Fondue meal was nice. Plenty of food to eat. The only fondue is the Swiss cheese appetizer which was very good. The stop in Pisa is a waste of time if you ask me. You spend as much time walking back and forth from parking to the tower as you get at the tower (which is just an hour long photo op). Lots of pick pockets at this site. On this day the itinerary says dinner included and it not - it lunch. There is an optional dinner in Montecatini which I'd suggest skipping as it was not that good. Venice is a ton of walking, but what an interesting city. I'm sure you could walk it a dozen times and see different things every time. We didn't do the Gondola ride, but I get why people would want to - it Venice. The Water Taxi ride should be part of the tour costs as it basically mandatory if you want to get back to the hotel with the tour group. Otherwise, you have to walk back a very long ways to catch the bus back to the hotel. This my 3rd Expat trip. It was by far the most strenuous of the 3 trips. The sites to see are worth the trip but be prepared to walk, uphill both ways (still haven't figured out how that worked out). But was overall another good trip I felt worth taking.
Highly recommend doing this tour! Its itinerary showcases some of Europe's awesome scenery from start to finish. Well worth doing-you will have many great photo opportunities throughout the tour. You will be left wanting to see more of the places you visit on tour
The tour was such a great time!
This tour is exactly what the name says -scenic! There are so many beautiful views that you see on the coach. With all the mountain scenery the roads can be windy, but it's worth it for the views. The cities we stopped at were all fantastic. You get to see the main tourist sites and also get free time in the cities. The optional excursions are a must ! The rooms and meals were great! One thing to remember: it's not bad, it's different, and different is great.
Lots of walking so make sure you have good shoes!
From the beautiful towering castle Neu Schwanstein to Mount Pilatus and every nook and cranny of the cities. MAL voyage does not disappoint. Our driver Andras was very skilled at navigating the often narrow and very windy roads that lead to our great destinations and hotels. Our tour guide Rachelle was amazing, expertly guiding us through the very busy destinations and experiencing the wonder right along with us.
We had an amazing tour leader, Dee and an awesome driver, Norbert. Dee was extremely competent and was always prepared for any question or obstacle. The scenery was stunning and we were given enough free time to explore.
Got a lot of friends. And pretty tour leader. Amazing tour, nice hotel, good food, very kind tour leader etc.
We had an incredible time on this door! It was challenging for seniors but we wouldn't have missed it for the world. D was wonderful and Norbert was an excellent bus driver.
What a great tour, action packed with loads of really cool places to see and experience. Our tour leader Dee was fantastic. She is so knowledgable and fun and extremely competent. She managed to gel the group very early on and that's a great gift. I have been on 3 expat tours now and thoroughly recommend them.
