Xin chào! Welcome to Vietnam. On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you’ll be met by your guide and driver for your transfer to the hotel. Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest metropolis – a fast-paced economic hub that still retains the deep-rooted traditions of its past.
This morning, we begin exploring the essentials of Saigon. Our first stop is the Reunification Palace, once the official residence of the President of South Vietnam. Here, you'll gain insight into the country’s recent history and the events leading to the fall of Saigon in 1975. We then visit the War Remnants Museum, which presents a powerful collection of photographs and artefacts documenting the impact of the Vietnam War. Outside, military equipment and exhibitions on Vietnamese culture offer further context.
Our final stop is the red-brick Notre-Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 with materials imported from France. A fine example of Neo-Romanesque architecture, it remains one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.
Please Note: Notre-Dame Cathedral is currently under renovation – visits are from the outside only.
Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang. Today we transfer to the airport for a short flight to Nha Trang, a coastal city known for its sandy beaches and clear waters. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Spend the next four days enjoying Nha Trang at your own pace. Once a quiet fishing village, this coastal city has grown into one of Vietnam’s most popular beach destinations, known for its sweeping bays, offshore islands, and mineral-rich hot springs.
You might choose to relax on the city’s main beach, lined with cafés and local seafood eateries, or take a boat trip to nearby islands such as Hon Mun or Hon Tam for snorkelling and swimming. The area is home to colourful coral reefs and clear waters ideal for marine activities.
For a cultural experience, you can visit the Po Nagar Cham Towers – a well-preserved Hindu temple complex built between the 7th and 12th centuries by the Cham civilisation. Another option is Long Son Pagoda, known for its giant white Buddha statue and hilltop views.
If you're interested in local life, the Dam Market offers a lively snapshot of daily commerce, while a soak in the Thap Ba Hot Springs provides a relaxing way to experience a traditional Vietnamese mud bath.
However you choose to spend your time, Nha Trang offers a balance of coastal relaxation, cultural sights, and opportunities to engage with the local way of life.
Your tour ends after breakfast and hotel check-out. An included transfer takes you to the airport for your onward flight.
