Northern Thailand Adventure

This tour was so amazing and Smile made sure it was for all of us!!! He’s an amazing guide, friend, comedian and bodyguard ;)! I couldn’t have wished for a better tour guide. He made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun all the time. We learned so much about the culture and history of Thailand. My favorite part of this trip was the jungle trek and sleeping in the local village. Playing with the kids, seeing them happy and giving them snacks and toys was something that gave me so much joy. Thank you Smile for making this trip unforgettable!

I was on the Northern Thailand tour with Arthur, and he made it such a fun and exciting experience. He was always making sure that everybody had a great time, while still being funny and more like a friend rather than a guide. 10/10 experience which I will never forget.

This was my first time solo travelling and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Most people on the trip were also travelling alone and I’ve now made some new friends for life. I’d highly recommend to family and friends.

The tour was amazing I met some amazing new people from all over the world and experienced some of the best places I have even been. The whole experience was made so much better due to our tour guide Arthur who was kind, caring, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, positive and very funny! He was always happy to help and answered any questions or concerns I had. I have never travelled alone before but he made the whole experience amazing and I am very grateful for all his hard work. This trip is definitely unforgettable and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of booking.

Really enjoyed my two weeks travelling around Northern Thailand. We saw and did a lot- from staying in a mountain village (a highlight), trekking through the jungle, feeding and washing the elephants, watching Muay Thai boxing, to doing a cooking class for local cuisine. Oh, and we can’t forget about the nights out and the Ladyboy Cabaret! I loved Thailand and I’ll definitely be back for more.

Alles super organisiert, man bracht man sich keine Gedanken zu machen und Sachen selber planen. Wenn man mal eigenständig was unternehmen will, kann man sich immer an seinen Tourguide wenden, er hat uns immer super geholfen und beraten (bei uns: Arthur, wirklich cooler, entspannter und witziger Typ). Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch absucht fair. Man kann wirklich tolle Menschen kennenlernen und viel über andere Kulturen lernen und seinen Horizont erweitern. Aber: Manchmal etwas eng getaktet und wenig Freizeit. Ob das gut oder schlecht ist, muss jeder für sich selber entscheiden.

I had the best time on the Northern Thailand 14-day tour. It was so relaxing, and I felt completely safe knowing that wherever our tour guide took us would be amazing. I loved supporting local communities and learning about Thai culture in such a personal and meaningful way through our guide. Some of the highlights for me were hiking to waterfalls, visiting temples, feeding and washing elephants, going river rafting, and so many other unforgettable experiences. My favorite part was hiking up to a small village in the mountains, meeting and getting to know wonderful people, and playing with local children. Our tour guide also suggested the best restaurants and bars. I loved traveling with so many new people, many of whom I now call friends. I’ve already recommended this tour to my sister, and I just hope she gets a tour guide as caring and organized as Smile (my tour guide). He shared personal stories that helped us understand the culture through his own experiences, and he was always patient and happy to answer our million questions. He made sure everyone was safe, whether it was looking after us when we were sick or making sure we got home safely after a night out. He was also incredibly accommodating when it came to any extra wishes or concerns. Smile was both a caring friend, opening up to us on a personal level, and a great leader who was organized and supportive in every way. He shared so much about the history and culture, making the experience truly meaningful. I’m so glad Smile was our tour guide and so glad I took this amazing tour.

What an amazing experience! Even though we did sooooo much packed into just 2 weeks, everything gelled together so well. I especially loved the elephant sanctuary and hill tribe visit/jungle trek as this was such a unique experience I’ll never forget. They made me feel calm and cared for in a very scary time and I am greatly appreciative of this. I had the most amazing time on the 14 day Thailand north tour! My guides Arthur and Juen were actually perfect! Bringing the energy everyday, despite some early mornings which really brought the moral of the group up! I actually ended up on crutches due to an ankle injury and Juen took me to the hospital, stayed with me and helped me so much after, really don’t know what I would of done without him! There’s a nice balance between action activities and chilling, I’ve seen so much of Thailand that I would not have been aware of myself if planning a solo holiday. My group were amazing, so nice to meet so many new people and and up with some life long friends, this is the same for the reps! If you’re thinking about booking a trip to Thailand I would recommended TruTravels, but the best thing really was the reps and the people! Can’t wait for my next tour hehe

It was an amazing trip that I'll never forget the tour guides Arthur and JT were amazing with good energy throughout the trip and always there to help weather it was a question or to lend a hand when you were struggling they really went above and beyond working hard to make it a fantastic adventure and friendly and safe environment.

All the activities we did were so much fun, I especially enjoyed the elephant sanctuary, jungle zip lining and all the caves and temples. Our tour guide Sea was so amazing and helpful.

The itinerary was jam packed with a range of activities, everyone got along really well from the start and our travel ninja was incredible.

What an experience. Arthur was our tour guide and I can’t even begin to express how good of a tour guide he was, even though I have only known him for 14 days it felt like we have been friends for years. All the activities were great and really fun. It felt like you got an extensive taste of Thai culture through the food, traditions and of course the people. The trip was very well organised but also relaxed and laid back. Overall it was just really fun and well worth it.

Only doing the northern part of Thailand, I can’t believe how much this tour has made me fall in love with the culture, people and the friends I’ve made. Ming and Ice have been an absolute pleasure to have had as guides and their friendliness is unparalleled. Most amazing trip I’ve ever done. The two girls, Ming and Pair, made us feel so relaxed and at ease with so much fun. A balance of both to suit all. The tour guide was amazing, we had smile as our guide and he always went above and beyond for everyone in the group and everybody loved him. He answered all the questions we had and made us feel safe at all times wherever we traveled, you can tell he genuinely cares/loves his job and is the most loveliest person. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was an excellent introduction to Southeast Asia and helped me be confident for the rest of my solo travels after. So much is included in the cost of the tour, so you don’t have to worry about many additional costs other than food and shopping. You do a ton during your 14 days so you feel like you’re really seeing the best of each location, but I didn’t feel like the schedule was too packed. My tour guide, Sky, was an absolute queen. She made sure everything ran smoothly and really felt like a part of the group - I cannot imagine this experience without her! I had the best time during my 14 day Northern Thailand trip. Sky was the most amazing guide ever! She is such a sweet person and we all loved her so much. She took the trip to another level and it felt like she was part of the group. She made sure to give us all the information we needed each day and she was really well prepared. She told us all about Thai culture and always knew where to find the best restaurants/bars/stores in each city. I loved all the activities, especially the elephant sanctuary and the cooking class. Because we were with a smaller group (10), we became really close as a group. I also loved the nights out with the whole group, just singing and dancing the whole night. It was such a great time! I would recommend it to everyone!

Tony was an exceptional tour guide who exceeded expectations. He ensured everyone enjoyed every part of the trip, making it accessible for all participants. Our tour guide Tony was the absolute best and most fun guy to be around! He made us laugh from early morning activities until late night parties. Just wanted to say how amazing the Northern Thailand trip with this tour operator and our super guide Tony was. Highlights of the trip were definitely the Elephant sanctuary and hike in the wilderness visiting the different waterfalls. Tony looked after everyone really well on the tour, including myself when my flight was cancelled and he organised transport so I could catch up with the rest of the tour and minimise my delay. I went on the Northern Thailand tour with this local tour company. I had the most amazing time. Our tour guide peanut was amazing. He took such good care of us and made sure everyone was happy. We did so many different activities, from a day in the jungle, to zip-lining, to visiting so many gorgeous temples and much more. I had an unforgettable vacation, all thanks to our amazing tour guide Peanut and the amazing group I had.

The tour was incredible. Highlights include the village home-stay, the elephant sanctuary and the cooking class. Our tour guide, Arthur, was informative and enthusiastic and made our trip extra enjoyable. It was a perfect tour for an introduction to group travelling and exploring Asia for the first time. I was nervous about going to Thailand in the wet season, but it hardly rained, and all activities were able to go ahead when it did rain. Some activities were physically demanding for me, but I was supported by the tour guide.

For me the most important thing about this trip, that made it different, was having a guide that knew the places and the culture and that was able to help us to have a wonderful trip helping people in every way. I was really courios about the culture and local places and whiskey always had the best answer and suggestion for me. He was also able to be part of the group being a friend of us, so the trip was even funnier!

This has been an unreal trip through the North of Thailand with our unbelievable tour guides Big and Peanut! Bring a solo traveller, I was beyond nervous flying out alone but from the get go (even before the tour actually started) they were sending suggestions of places to visit prior to the tour starting. Our Thailand tour exceeded all of our expectations. It was an exceptionally well-planned journey that struck the perfect balance between a jam-packed itinerary and moments of relaxation. Ali and Sky were such fantastic tour guides they really made the experience what it was. They perfectly balanced really great informative day trips like to the temples or ayutthaya with fun nights out like the karaoke bar in kanchanaburi. They were really encouraging when people in the group were struggling eg with the jungle trekking and we definitely wouldn't have had the fantastic experience we had without them, they became a core part of our groups and they were our guides but also our friends. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and particularly to try to get on a tour with Ali because he's been so great. I will miss Ali and Sky so much!

Sonny was the most professional, and fun tour guide I’ve yet to have! There wasn’t one time where the group did not enjoy our time together with many laughs shared. Sonny was very informative when it came to the history of Thailand and was very helpful and assertive if and when anyone had a problem. I would 1000% recommend Sonny to all my family and friends!

Arthur and whiskey was amazing tour guides they included everyone and made sure everyone had a good time , they worked so well with each other and made the tour so fun, all the activists were fun and there was something for everyone , whiskey is so caring and looked after everyone , Arthur is so fun and loves a night out , my favourite activity was meeting the elephants, would recommend to anyone who wants to travel !!!!!

They’ve been absolutely caring, adventurous, informative and especially organised to give us the chance to experience the most of the North within the time. Arthur and Whisky matched perfectly as Tourguides, they’ve complimented each other very well, just loved them! They’ve been really helpful with everything, especially when it came to local transports, markets and stuff like this they helped us to translate everything from Thai to English and the other way round! The Tour itself was just the right mix of Adventure, Party and chilling. My favourite part has definitely been the Jungle Trekking to the Hill Tribe and the elephant days.
