Budget Trips to Thailand

Truly an unbelievable experience. Considering the trip was solo-ish, I understand that my own desires and opinion to have more time in the city and less time in the rainforest is just one opinion. The whole trip was organized amazingly for so many different wants and needs.

Absolutely loved my experience. It was a great way to explore a country. As someone who is single and loves to travel, this trip was ideal!! I was given the opportunity to meet group members, feel safe in traveling a country where I did not speak the language, yet also had some time to do things independently of I chose.

Our family of four had the best time! This was the first trip out of the country for our two teens and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience – for all of us. Our guide, Zam, was organized, helpful, knowledgeable, and funny. We really appreciated his expertise and how well he helped us navigate many different places and spaces. Our group included another family with teens and people from around the world who quickly became friends. We really liked the pacing of this tour -- a couple of days in each island -- and the flexibility on some of the days to do things with just our family instead of being locked into a very tight itinerary with the group. We added on a couple of days to see Bangkok outside of this island tour and I think that is a must-do for anyone visiting Thailand. Our favorite parts of the trip were snorkeling in the islands, hiking up to see the views in Ang Thong park, beach massages, and eating fresh and delicious Thai food.

Our trip to Thailand with National Geographic / G Adventures was an unforgettable, amazing trip. Our itinerary afforded us unique experiences to connect with local people and culture. Our CEO treated us like family and made each activity more meaningful and more fun.

This trip was exactly what I needed after doing a more active tour beforehand. It was relaxing while still being able to see the sights and do activities and was totally stress free thanks to Pond. I would recommend this trip to anyone in a heartbeat, there were so many pinch-me moments when I'd just stop to think about the fact that I was snorkelling around beautiful beaches and islands in Thailand and even got to see a shark and sea turtle up close!

This was a great way to see the southern islands of Thailand! I needed a shortish trip with very specific dates and this trip fit my itinerary perfectly. I booked just 2 weeks before the tour. G Adventures made everything seemless from booking to the trip itself. I had a great time and would love to go on more G Adventures trips in the future.
