Reviews of our Thailand Tours for Winter

Feedback from guests who toured Thailand during Winter.

Great tour. Our leader had to change our itinerary due to Christmas. This meant that we went to Hellfire pass the following morning as opposed to a full rest day. This was an improvement as the original itinerary of everything on the one day would have been too much. It also meant that we enjoyed a second trip on the river to get to the dock - much better

This is an excellent tour, covering a lot of ground at a moderate, but completely manageable pace. Highlights are those out of the major cities, though Chiang Mai itself is also an interesting place, much more relaxed and less crowded than Bangkok.

It’s New Years Eve. I haven’t finished my holiday yet having remained in Krabi for a further six nights after the Explore holiday. I have done this holiday twice in the past three years and will probably do it again. It isn’t full on touring with long travel days…….even transferring between island by speedboat is nice. Sometimes you need a more relaxing holiday at this time of year. Thailand and the Andaman Sea is the perfect place for this. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was being allocated a top bunk on the overnight train journey from Bangkok to Trang as this was enforced lying down for eleven hours on a narrower bed because of the curvature of the train roof. The wider, more headroom, able to sit up bottom bunks cost 150 Baht ( about £2.50) more which I would have willingly paid for.

The trip had a great balance of adventure, culture and party. Every day was so different and exciting but you are also given time to recharge. The trip manager was absolutely amazing, she was one of the group. One of the best experiences of my life.

It was my very first tour, and I was a bit hesitant to book. BUT! It turned out to be one of the best trips I’ve ever had. Would do it over and over again. More than highly recommended ⭐

Great experience overall. Highlights might be embroidery plant/store. Riding on back of vesper. Visiting temples. Being blessed by monks. Feeding monks in the morning. Seeing how the Vietnamese live. Eating their food (some of it). Andy was fabulous
