Beautiful scenery, easy riding, helpful crew who work very hard. We stopped in so many quaint little towns. Something for everyone.
Well organized with all details attended to The staff was always helpful, friendly and accomodating. The guido app was most helpful. Food was of good quality and making our lunches to go was great.
Lovely route on an authentic riverboat. Our bikes were brand new and worked perfectly. The crew was attentive and polite. I thought it was the right amount of exercise and relaxation. No need for an e-bike, although we elected to upgrade to them, and they worked perfectly. The route is very, very flat, so either a lighter conventional bike or the heavier e-bike works. The route information on one's phone or using the route booklet was excellent. No worries about getting lost. Our tour guide, Julia, was well-informed, uniformly upbeat, and fun to have on the trip.
The bike and barge trip was excellent. Staff were great. Bikes in very good order. Food was outstanding. Cabins were very comfortable with plenty of space for storage. No free WiFi which was a pity. I would recommend this tour.
Spectacular medieval villages and steep sloped vineyards. Mostly flat riding. Ebike made it even more relaxed and enjoyable.
Good Captain and helpful crew. Food excellent cabin clean and well maintained. Your guide was excellent!
The Moselle River in Germany is so beautiful. Each town and village is chocolate box pretty. The travel paths are easy to negotiate with few hills and the serene vista of the meandering Moselle to follow. Roman ruins and medieval history is on display with many interesting places such as Villa Urbana to see along the cycle path. There’s castles, vineyards, shops, restaurants and cafes aplenty. The Olympia provided quality bikes - including e-bikes for the journey and a welcoming meal and comfortable cabin with ensuite at the end of each day to rest, recover and enjoy the company of fellow travelers. Our tour guide ensured we were well looked after and provided with information to make the most of each day. A great trip with less crowds than many other European destinations. This is an active and yet relaxing tour. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Such an amazing experience, everything was fabulous, the beds comfy, food was delicious, the staff and the guide were lovely and helpful. The scenery along the river was spectacular!!!
Great food. Easy to follow routes. Useful briefings.
Under the circumstances of flooding on the Mosiel we think they did a very good job arranging alternatives on the Rhein River.
Well organised. Excellent food. Good navigational aids.
A lovely trip with very manageable bike rides, a fantastic staff, and well planned dinners as well as hearty breakfasts and self packed lunches. They did a particularly good job accommodating multiple languages so that no group felt left out. It was exactly what I expected with the exception of not serving Rhine wines.
The cabins were comfortable and had plenty of storage even though small. Service and food were very good and the staff were friendly and worked very hard.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time riding down the Moselle River. The ship Olympia was very comfortable. The meals were good and the staff generally attentive. Our organizer Julia did a top job keeping everything on track.
