Marrakech, Agafay & Coast - 5 days

Welcome to Marrakech! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

At 12:00pm, join a welcome meeting where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers. Afterward, enjoy some free time before embarking on an optional city tour at 2pm. Discover the Koutoubia Mosque, a symbol of the city, and delve into the history of the Ben Youssef Madrassa. Wander through the mesmerising souks and end your tour in the bustling Jemaa El Fna square. Spend some time exploring before we regroup for dinner at the hotel.

Marrakech - Tafraoute. After breakfast at the hotel, we head west, passing through scenic Berber towns in the Massa area with a coffee stop along the way. Upon arriving in Tafraoute, we'll check into our hotel, with time to break for lunch at a local restaurant. If time permits, enjoy a swim before we venture to the Ait Mansour Valley.

This peaceful paradise is renowned for its stunning landscapes, temperate climate, and valleys nestled between the rocky slopes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the calm atmosphere, lush palm groves, and blooming almond trees. We'll walk through the Oasis to learn about the local agriculture. In the afternoon, we'll return to Tafraoute, stopping to admire the iconic blue-painted rocks.

Tafraoute - Essaouira. Rise and shine! After an early breakfast, we journey through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains towards Morocco’s western coast, passing through the towns of Tiznit, Agadir, and Taghazoute.

Pause in Agadir for lunch (own expense), then continue the journey, taking in breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and picturesque Berber villages along the way. On arrival in Essaouira, check into your hotel and refresh.

The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore this charming fishing town with its vibrant souks, cosy cafes, and scenic terraces. For those seeking adventure, optional activities include quad biking, kite surfing, horse riding, or a cooking class. Alternatively, you can unwind at the beach across from our hotel with a refreshing mint tea.

Essaouira - Agafay Desert. Enjoy a leisurely morning to further explore the charming coastal town of Essaouira at your own pace. Later, meet at the hotel and depart for the Agafay Desert. Located near Marrakech, Agafay Desert is known for its rocky, dune-like landscape. Upon arrival, we'll check into our desert tents. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or opt for an adventurous camel ride while watching the breathtaking sunset.

Agafay Desert -Marrakech. After breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive back to Marrakech. The tour ends upon arrival in Marrakech. Make your own way to the airport for your onward flight, or contact us if you would like to book a departure transfer.
