Continue toward Zagora, drawing ever closer to the edge of the Sahara, and immerse yourself in the oasis town of Erfoud and the scenic city of Tinghir in the Drâa-Tafilalet region. The adventure concludes back in Marrakech, allowing time to savor both the city’s energy and the tranquility of Morocco’s southern reaches.

day 1 - Marrakech (arrival)

Upon arrival at Marrakech International Airport, you will be met and assisted by a representative. You will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and then the rest of the night is at leisure.

day 2 - Marrakech

Embark on a comprehensive day tour of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city, also known as the \"Ochre city.\" This historical exploration encompasses visits to the Menara Garden, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, and the Dar Si Said Museum. Enjoy lunch at the hotel, followed by an afternoon exploration of the vibrant souks, handicraft quarters, and the renowned Jemaa El-Fna Square, known for its continuous entertainment.

day 3 - Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora (380 Km)

After breakfast in the morning, you will depart on a journey to Ait Benhaddou, passing through the scenic Tizi N’tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 meters. Delve into the history of its renowned Kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site with a cinematic history having been the location of films like Lawrence of Arabia, Troy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. Proceed to Boumalne, traversing Ouarzazate and Kalaa Mgouna. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

day 4 - Zagora – N’kob – Erfoud (300 Km)

Depart for Erfoud with a worthy stop at Tamgroute village, known worldwide for its pottery centers. The journey then continues through the picturesque villages of Tansikht, N’kob, Tazzarine, and Alnif, showcasing stunning pre-Saharan landscapes. You may choose to have lunch in Alnif. In the afternoon, continue your trip to Erfoud, passing through Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Erfoud.

Optional: 4x4 excursion to the dunes of Merzouga to see the sunset
The Erg Chebbi dunes are in the Sahara Desert, on the border of Algeria, and are a part of the Merzouga desert in Morocco. The dunes are home to a variety of wildlife, including jerboas, desert hedgehogs, fences, and desert foxes. In the spring, pink asphodels and mauve statice bloom, and sometimes pink flamingos and other water birds can be seen.

day 5 - Erfoud – Tinghir – Ouarzazate (350 Km)

As you journey towards Ouarzazate, the scenic sights of the Tinjdad oasis and the picturesque Dades Valley enchant you with their beauty. If you like, enjoy lunch in Tinghir. In the afternoon, the adventure continues to Ouarzazate, meandering through the enchanting road of the 1000 Kasbahs, weaving past Kalaat M’Gouna and the scenic Skoura valley. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, indulge in a brief city tour before winding down with a delightful dinner.

day 6 - Ouarzazate – Marrakech (220 Km)

Return to Marrakech today, passing through the scenic Tizi N’tichka pass. Once in Marrakech, indulge in a delightful dinner and spend the night at your hotel.
