Very informative re the history of Ireland.

Doreen G.On Oct 1, 2025

This itinerary was excellent. We were able to see most of Ireland and get to understand why there is 2 countries

Greg as a host was excellent! Provided many insights we would not have discovered otherwise. Greg, along with Darius(SP?) our driver kept everything moving along on time and safely. Darius is a very skilled and safe driver

Jay M.On Oct 1, 2025

We saw the highlights of Ireland that everyone talks about, and especially learned a lot about the country that we never knew. Great trip. Large tour group, though - would have preferred a smaller group size.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. , our tour director, and , our bus driver, made it a wonderful trip. I would recommend this trip.

Great trip! Got to see so much!

My wife and I recently completed this trip and had a wonderful time ! This is our second consecutive year of doing a trip with Trafalger and both have been wonderful experiences. We loved this trip because of the scenery, the food and the wonderful tour guide and driver. We loved that we were able to go to places that were off the beaten path with no large crowds and truly get an authentic Irish Experience. We would highly recommend this trip. Thanks to Maeve and Michael for making this so memorable !

Adding the 3 days through Northern Ireland was a great decision. I learned so much history from the local experts it was so interesting.

Tania B.On Sep 26, 2025

Very full and busy itinerary and great value for money. Interesting and varied sites, lovely restaurants and really good accommodations. Peter our tour guide and Stuart our drive were both fabulous.

This was a very broad experience covering a lot of area. For a first experience u really saw Ireland. The scheduled highlights were great and plenty of time was allotted for the visit.

My friend and I thought each day..well, it can't get any better then this day. It kept getting better!!! Top sights to see, very well paced, some down time to do what you want. Great tour guide and great bus driver. Loved the information as we were riding. Great history stories.

Lynette H.On Sep 24, 2025

We were very impressed with our Tour Director and driver . They were helpful, informative and friendly with a good dose of humour thrown in. We loved our time in Belfast, learning more about the Troubles from the locals and the Titanic experience was incredible. The only negative was the included dinner (in either Derry or Galway) where in the afternoon on the coach, we had to choose from only three main dishes and it was below average when served. We appreciated that had cherry picked the best optional experiences. All of these were great but the visit and lunch at the farm and the night at Malzards Pub were exceptional.

Jennifer F.On Sep 24, 2025

Fabulous itinerary as we saw the best parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland with loads of extras we didn’t expect.

was an excellent guide. Made us feel relaxed.

Patricia G.On Sep 24, 2025

It was a trip was a trip of a lifetime for me. I couldn't believe how many magical and beautiful places we were able to visit. We had an amazing tour guide, his knowledge of all the different areas and sites we saw was absolutely outstanding. It was very fast paced trip with early mornings, but that's how this tour was able to see so much and do so much of this amazing island. The optional experiences, were also perfect. They were all fun and made many memories. This trip to Ireland was a long time dream of mine and I'm so happy we went with Trafalgar tours. This definitely won't be our last Trafalgar tour. Also, I can't forget our extremely cautious and fabulous bus driver . He was always able to get that large bus into areas we didn't think was possible. I have a walker and was always waiting for me with the walker when I got off the bus. Ireland is even more beautiful than I could even imagined. This trip was a trip of a lifetime.

The trip was wonderful. It is a very busy trip with alot of bus travel and hotel changes but I felt we had enough time to capture each city. This is a great first trip to Ireland/Northern Ireland as you get a taste of each section of the country. The optional experiences were fantastic and highly recommend. Our tour guide Shane was wonderful. He gave interesting facts about each area as well as miscellaneous info during our bus rides between cities. He is an encyclopedia of information. And our bus driver Michael was phenomenal as well. We always felt confident and safe when he was driving.

Good locations, nice hotels. Way too many people. Overcrowded.

AnonymousOn Sep 20, 2025

Really fantastic experience - hotels were very good, bus comfortable, tour guide and driver were fantastic. Time was appropriate at each stop, good optional trips. Things to be aware of - the non-optional farm visit is a working farm with a butchery. As a vegan I was not aware it was an animal farm and found it incredibly distressing. That it is not a vegetable farm needs to be communicated to vegetarians/vegans. A reminder to people who are getting sick to please wear a mask on the bus would have been worthwhile. At the end, there were a couple of peope with respiratory viruses and they just sat on the bus coughing, thankfully we did not get sick. Would be good to actually stop the bus for 5 mins for photo stops (eg. Charlie Chaplin).

I would suggest an extra day in Dublin. We went in a day early to adjust to the time and would have missed so much of the city had we not done that on our own. Loved all the stops that we made on the itinerary. Definitely breaking up the drive time was great. Our biggest concern was other than the time we were leaving on the bus each morning we didn’t have a clear outline of the days travel. Realizing there may be last minute updates but having a general idea of stops each day and the time at each stop, suggestions for food and types of shopping would be helpful to have at least each night for the following days travel. We usually received partial information as we started out each morning. Didn’t allow for great planning our backpacks. Loved seeing the perimeter of Ireland. Or as much as we could in 11 days.

Full of beautiful scenery, fun, good food, slow paced enough for older people! Loved it!

Keith C.On Sep 17, 2025

My only suggestion would be to locate hotels on the tours within walking distance of city centers. Hotels tend to not always the greatest menus and wandering the local city streets is one of the special treats of traveling.

The itinerary is full of Irish history, culture, and tourist attractions each day. If you want to cover most everything in Ireland, this tour is for you. If you enjoy a smaller group to travel with, this tour is not the one.

Between the "tour" and "optional experience" offerings, we felt this trip itinerary was exceptional based on our friend's experiences with other tour groups/companies. However, our satisfaction with this itinerary was contingent on involving ourselves in both, for a more comprehensive view of Ireland. Without immersing ourselves in both, our opinions may have been different. Another big factor to the satisfaction with this itinerary was our Tour Director and Bus Driver. It was evident from the start that both were very proud of their country and heritage - and fully engaged in providing the best experience possible to our group. They worked to immerse us into Irish culture through their teamwork; comprehensive historical commentary and experiences; customer service; availability; timeliness; and individual respect. Another important factor were our fellow travelers! They were timely, fun, helpful, empathetic, and flexible. We developed some friendships and connections that I know will abide over time. We've even talked about traveling together again in the future with Trafalgar!!

Total immerses you to All of Ireland! That means the history of North Ireland ! You will come away with so many beautiful memories!

It's fabulous. The right balance of activity and own time. The only thing I didn't like was the dinner at the pub in Belfast. It was terrible- the food, the service, the rude abrupt owner. I wouldn't go there again even if it were free !! Our tour director and driver were fun , full of information and easy to get along with.

Marian W.On Sep 10, 2025

When it is pouring rain and windy, the special guides should speak to us in the bus and not expect us to stand there and listen.

AnonymousOn Sep 10, 2025

Great experience. Fun and educational.

AnonymousOn Sep 10, 2025

This itinerary offers a wide range of experiences while covering many cities in Ireland. You will learn about the cities and their history and cultures. You will also experience the beauty to Ireland's coastlines and lush landscapes.
