It was a fast paced adventure and we loved it! Our next rip to Ireland will be spending more time in Dublin and Galway and Killarney.

Guillia put a great self-drive tour together for us and Susana looked after us as we travelled.
(Even when we got lost)
The car and accommodation was good and the guides patient and informative.
Only issue we had was parking in small villages, garages, and cities.
Apart from the parking we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, thank you.

The trip was very well organized. We had a fantastic tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Our driver was outstanding. We got to see so much of southern Ireland; its natural beauty, its history, its people, and its culture. It was also a great way to meet fellow travellers from different parts of the world. A wonderful way to experience Ireland for the first time.

The only thing that was disappointing was we didn’t get to see anything in Dublin. It was all a bus tour. If I had known that I would have taken a taxi back into town and saw the things I thought we would stop and see when we took the tour of Dublin.

Ireland is a beautiful place with beautiful people. Dublin was a hybrid of modern and ancient buildings. Our favorite city was Killarney. It had a small town feel with great pubs and shopping. Be sure to check out Murphy’s ice cream shop if go there. The Trafalgar trip was full of so many amazing experiences, I cannot list them all. We had three experiences in different locations (two pubs and a castle) that included singing and dancing. We got to play a little hurling, which is an odd but exciting game. Two of the highlights for us were the carriage ride in Killarney National Park and the Be Our Guest Experience at Ballyknocken with Catherine Fulvio. She and her food are amazing. Also, places like the cliffs of Moher must be seen to truly appreciate their grandeur. Of course, we kissed the Blarney stone. It is incredible how many varied experiences Trafalgar packs into its tours. To achieve this goal requires careful timing so this tour is not for you if you hate sticking to a schedule that requires you to get up at about 6:00 am every day so that you can be on a bus by 8:00am. Also, this tour had us changing hotels nearly every night. That’s not a complaint, just something you should know. The hotels were great. The staff was great. It was not an issue for us, but you are packing and unpacking quite a bit. The least interesting part was the Ring of Kerry. It was full of beautiful scenery and we stopped twice, but it is hard to appreciate nature from inside of a bus. Walking along the cliffs of Moher was more enjoyable.
