Honest insights from past guests on our 10-Day Ireland tours
This tour was such a great way to see Ireland! From our amazing tour guide, all the wonderful sights & yummy food everyday. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience of Ireland. Denis our guide was so knowledgeable about every city & stop along the way. Collette was very organized & allowed our trip to move with ease. Mark was truly remarkable at navigating the Ireland roads in our huge bus. He deserved a lot of the credit as well with his wonderful driving. I would take a Collette trip again in the future for sure. It was so nice to be able to just get on the bus & go. Now if we could always have Denis as our guide anywhere, that would be a plus! This tour was an excellent way to discover Ireland.
I thought the whole trip was awesome and our tour guide (Jackie) did a fantastic job. I liked the idea of switching seats every day so that you got a different view of the bus tour.
Outstanding memories of beautiful places of Ireland. Delicious food and nice holes accommodation! Knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide. We visited lovely places with unique History of Ireland!!! Thank you, Angelina Esqueda
Tour guide was ABSOLUTELY awesome. Hard to pick one experience but she included some little-known options like the sacred wells/springs from way back in Gaelic history. Learning about the culture (through GAA games, description of architecture, etc.) was something I likely would have missed if I had gone on my own. THe thing I did not like (but which worked out) was that I understood our tour group was 6 people but that we needed 12 for a liaison. When I asked what this meant, I did not get an explanation that we'd be merged into a much larger group. I did not prefer being far away from towns for hotels such as Rine and Gerryvoe. Trinity City in Dublin was great. Upper level staff at Rine was also now very aware of how customer service is supposed to work. The actual servers and next level down employees were great. Just the top dogs acted like you were rather an encumbrance to be managed. Tour gets 5 starts largely because our tour guide, our bus driver and the places visited. Food was variable as was hotel.
Great experience ! Great tour Director and coach driver! We saw so many wonderful places, had great food, and had special experiences . Appreciated having the tickets already purchased for museums, castles, abbeys. River cruise and lake excursion . We had fun on the coach with songs, a full history lesson of the different countries and sweet personal stories from our Travel director and Coach driver.
This tour was a great way to experience Ireland at its best. You visit large cities of Dublin and Galway, and beautiful smaller towns such as Waterford, Kilkenny, Limerick and Sligo. The optional experiences were all fully worth the money. Ireland history is featured with visits to the Epic museum and Dunbrody famine ship, and the travel director is an expert in Irish history and culture. The bus was very comfortable, and luggage porterage was handled expertly. Breakfasts were full buffets with hot and cold options. We always had plenty of lunch options and included and optional dinners were very good. We had a full bus (around 45 people) but I feel everyone had a wonderful time and was able to participate in activities they wanted (shopping, quiet time, visiting with others, exploring historical sites, etc.).
