Highlights of Japan

I simply loved all about that trip!!!! The destinations chosen and itinerary were perfect. The tour guides Jamie and Kanako were amazing. Please, don't change them. They are a perfect team, attentive and make you feel as a part of the group from the very first spot. Dabashi-san, our driver, was the perfect addition to those two. The tour wouldn't have been nearly as awesome as it has been without the three of them together- the magnificent three. The hotels were clean and had everything that we needed. The areas chosen for those were great so that I was able to have a little stroll for taking pictures every night. I got plenty of new friendships & memories out of this trip that have enriched my life tremendously.

The content of this tour has been excellent. The excursions and cultural entertainment have been interesting, informative and fun! Jamie, our tour leader, has showcased so many areas of spectacular scenery and shared his local knowledge, to maximise our enjoyment and travel experience. His efforts have been much appreciated by us all! Thank you Jamie! 🌸

This tour was spectacular. Our tour guide Jaime was excellent. He was so knowledgeable, personable, and extremely enthusiastic. Jamie made our tour a 10 out of 10 !!!! We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and this trip will be in our hearts forever. Each day was adventurous and fun. We learned so much from Jaime about Japan. We have only been home a week and we miss our "" Bus Family"".

Exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect to feel so thrilled by all that my husband, Ian, and I were able to see and experience. We fell in love with Japan!

Loved every minute of my 12 day tour through Japan. Jamie was a wonderful, information, fun and caring guide. The itinerary was wide and varied and not as rushed as I imagined. Watanabe our driver was so much fun but the safest driver. This is my 7th tour with Expat and I am sure that there will be many more. I totally recommend them.

Really enjoyed the trip. Not too tiring and a nice balance of group activity and free time. Full marks to Tour Leader Jamie who went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly.

Japan is an amazing country. The tour was a good start for a taste of Japan. I really enjoyed the tour because I'm seeing Japan for the first time. Jamie, our tour leader, was very fun, knowledgeable and organised. Overall great tour.

Interesting

Excellent tour guide Jamie. Our driver and interpreter were both professional, friendly and so polite. Jamie has had many years experience. His enthusiasm for both his work and for Japan is contagious. The camaraderie was great. Food, tours and shopping were perfect. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Jamie and the others worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort, safety and enjoyment. Thank you for an amazing experience

The tour is above our expectations. We have seen and learned a lot. And, which is very important, we were in good hands

The sights we saw were great but does involve long hours on the bus so be prepared. Friends make a tour and for that I am thankful for the experiences we had.

Loved it all. The usual mix of guided tours and free time, with excellent hotels and a good crowd on the bus. Of course in any country there is so much to see and one tour cannot see it all but this was certainly a great effort at experiencing as much as possible within my time and budget constraints.

Our tour leaders were great

The tour was very comprehensive and covers most of Japan. The tour leader Sato was amazing!!!!!!she was so kind, accomodating, fun, passionate and I felt extremely safe with her around (being a solo traveler). Sato also spoke excellent english. Sato was outstanding! She is truely an asset to expat explore!

Through this tour group I was able to experience many places that I would not have found on my own. From the time we started tour to the end was well organized. Hotels were clean and breakfast provided to start our busy days. Had free nights to go out on own or with tour guides. Great experience !

I have a wonderful time. I love all the activities and enjoyed every place we visited. Mick the team leader has been pleasant and always attentive to make the the best for us to enjoy the tour. Also, my special thanks to Saco the local guide who was always helpful to any need and suggestions. Excellent driver diligent and skillful in his job. Overall one of the best tours I had.

We travelled as a couple. We had a good introduction to Japan. Visited many places from Tokyo to Hiroshima and back to Tokyo on a bullet train. The experience was amazing and we would love to go back to Japan again. Fellow travellers of mixed ages were friendly and some of them have travelled with Expat several times previously. The driver and local assistant together with the Tour Leader made us felt cared for and safe. The choice of the hotels were very good as all are in city centre location and have easy access to train, malls and surrounded by restaurants. I believe the success of the tour is very much depending on the Tour Leader. Our Tour Leader, Jamie was excellent in his leadership, management and fun personality. Very friendly and helpful. I am already looking for another trip with Expat.

Good tour

I really enjoyed the whole experience of being in Japan and the variety of everything we did was great. I did struggle with the amount of walking and stairs to negotiate as this was far more than was stated in the brochure. However, the tour was very organised and many thanks to Jamie.
