Yes, please share optional tour information . Need to set aside a fee free days for shopping and exploring on your own. Also, buy a few hundred dollars in foreign currency upon arrival. Lastly, if you’re traveling more than 12 hours, recommend arriving a day early to recuperate from Jet lag.

This group tour was a fantastic way for first-time visitors like us to discover Japan, and it's history, culture and landscape. The mix of city, and rural and mountain pilgrimage route, travelling by train, bus and on foot, even boat, was a great blend for the more active traveller. Our guide was excellent - knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I'm already looking through the Explore brochure for our next trip!

The tour is excellent. It covers a lot of the iconic sights, which means quite a bit of travelling, but the tour is well paced. We never felt rushed. Our guide, Isa, was fantastic. Her enthusiasm and passion for the country, the history and the people made the whole trip an amazing experience.

Not just one; tea ceremony, cooking class, gold leaf class and seeing places we wouldn't have on our own. Knowledgeable and accommodating tour manager (Saiko) and not worrying about transportation to and from places. Great group of people, too!

Ana was the best tour guide we’ve ever experienced. Her positivity, energy, organization, and knowledge were exceptional. Hard to pick a favorite place. That beautiful park, the big fish market, the Hiroshima peace memorial, and the sky rope way ride stand out. Also loved the young girl who performed at our dinner.
