The itinerary was very interesting. It more than met our expectations. My favorite part was the visit to Olympia and the site of the ancient Olympics.

It was a very good experience, but the days were long. I would have liked a bit more leisurely experience. I am assuming that is difficult to do and still see all the amazing things we did.

The local guides make the archeological sites come alive. It is easy to see why the monasteries are a UNESCO site. The stop at the family owned olive grove was wonderful in atmosphere, in learning about and tasting olive oil. It was a fabulous lunch and a relaxing atmosphere. The music and dancing were a highlight. The stops for the seaside lunch and in the seaside town were delightful. Insight would be better off letting people find dinner on their own than attending the first 2 hotel dinners that were poor at best. The Greek food is spectacular so to be "provided" such poor meals was a real downfall and not up to Insights normal standards.

The acropolis museum should really be part of the tour. At a minimum, let people know in advance that you’re NOT gonna go so we can plan to go on our own. However, it would be far better if it was included since the guide provides so much insight when you go to places. A little insight on how to use the extra days before the tour starts would be highly appreciated.
